Adnan's just gone to Port Vale on loan from Tranmere. Another academy product that is going down the league ladder and not up.

Adnans a really nice guy, met him once in Bradford, and he was a really down to earth lad who seemed to think highly of Huddersfield. Shame it never worked out for him, i think he has been unlucky with injuries and before he had these he looked a great prospect with awesome passing abilities and he could also strike a ball well. Fingers crossed he has a future in the game. I heard his interview on the BBC where he was wanting more asian kids to get into the game of football as he believed it would stop making them so insular and they would break down their negative conceptions of white English kids.

A while back I remember ex-loan man Nigel Callaghan on a Sky One programme 'Greece Uncovered'. He was DJing in somewhere like Faliraki.
He had put on a lot of weight but managed to put on a display of keepy-uppys for the cameras.
He's been a talented player for Watford and Aston Villa, but his career was clearly going downhill by the time he arrived at Town.

Simon Charlton is a coach at Norwich these days, Pat Scully is manager at Shamrock Rovers, Simon Baldry is playing for Ossett Town, Iwan Roberts does Welsh language commentary for Sky and BBC, Nico Vaesen has come out of retirement and is playing for K.F.C. Verbroedering Geel.
Any one know what became of Steve Francis?

I don't remember this happening, made me laugh though...
City star vows to put conviction in the past From the Evening Press, first published Thursday 5th Mar 1998.
YORK City star striker Rodney Rowe today pledged to put his conviction for assault behind him and concentrate all his energies on scoring goals.
The 22-year-old leading goalscorer spoke out after his £150 court fine yesterday for shoving a young woman into a wheelie bin.
Rowe, who admitted common assault at Selby Magistrates' Court, attacked the teenager outside a pizza restaurant in King Street, York, at 1.30am on December 11, last year.
Keith Usher, of York City Football Club, said today the details of Rowe's case would be considered before deciding whether any disciplinary action would be taken by the club.
York City manager Alan Little, however, believed the matter was finished.
Little said: "That's it as far as I am concerned. Rodney can now concentrate on his football, that's all we need worry about."
Today, the top striker denied that his recent poor performance on the field was due to the pending court action, and said it was all behind him now. "It's over now, that's it," he said. "I want to get back on the pitch and work hard, for York City and for myself. I want to concentrate on the football and knock in some goals."
But Angela Bacon, the girl Rowe attacked, said she would find it very difficult to forget what he did to her.
Angela, 19, a shop assistant from York, suffered swelling and bruising when Rowe, who signed for York City for £80,000 last year, grabbed her, picked her up and dumped her into a nearby bin.
She had been out visiting pubs and a nightclub with a friend, Katy Oliver, when they met a group of young men, including Rowe, outside the pizza takeaway. Rowe assaulted her after Angela accused him of acting arrogantly, the court heard.
Angela said: "We were made out to look like two girls who, when we saw a footballer, just couldn't help going to speak to him."But he came up to us, and grabbed me. I don't like football so I didn't even know who he was. I just want to put it all behind me now."

Steve Francis, after retiring from football, moved to the USA with his family. It was there that he was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies to play point guard in his spare time. He seems to have made a bit of a go at it. He's changed from how I remember him though. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Francis

Found myself washing my car next to Rob Edwards a year or so back. And also saw him out in Holmfirth with Booty a few months back. I see Jon Dyson at least once or twice a year out in restaurants.

Kenny Irons played for Tranmere in Skys Football Masters recently. I barely recognised him but he's still got a good touch with a ball

In an odd twist to the Rodney Rowe story wasn’t it posted on here a couple of years ago that Iain Dunn inspects dustbins in York?
Witton play in Northwich.
