Showed a good touch and prepared to put himself about. I agree, he will be a good signing with a partner.

He held up the ball well and played it out to feet. Won his fair share of headers as well. Can't ask any more from a 19 year old on his debut in a hot blooded derby game. Played son.

i was very impressed with him today-obviously hes not fully fit,and his touch needs a little bit of work, but he did very well holding the ball up and trying to bring others into play

Far better player all round than dickinson. Once he is match fit he will be a great addition to the side. Did more in his first five minutes than jevons and parker have for most of the season. I wont even start on Jevons second half performance

He looked very good, still nowhere near match fit, after 40 minutes he looked absolutely knackered but it was so good having a player like Lukas upfront when we have had to put up with Jevons all season. I think he will only be a short term solution though, cus it seems from his interview before the game he wants to go back n try and get in the everton team when his loan is over, so dnt think he will be staying.

Only down side on the guy today.
When he was announced for the first time at the Galpharm, and all the crowd were welcoming him with a good round of applause, he did not acknowledge us and just spat. Poor form.

Looked a bit sluggish to me, but guess thats what you get when you're not used to first team Football....
Held it up well, and looked strong in the air. Once he's 100% fit i'm sure he'll be a right hand full. Him & Cads up front would be fantastic.

It was nice to finally see a striker lead the line and actually stay up front, reminded me of legend the way he held it up and tried to bring others into play, and the way he bought a few free kicks.

.... he can defend corners with his height.. and Leeds put two players on him for our corner which freed Clarky up to score.... and he did have a few strikes on goal... unlike that other elusive 'striker'. ... he looks promising

Thought he did really well to say he's only 19, making his debut in a big derby and up against two decent centre halfs. Big lad with some presence too, I was expecting him to look like a streak of p**s tbh ;-) Lead the line well, held the ball up, decent in air, good couple of shots (especially the one that came back off 'Ankleman' for think it was Pilkington). He certainly showed Jev and Parker how to be a striker. Agree he looked dead on his feet in second half. Reckon he'll get even better with another match or two. Ooh to be a.....TERRIER!!! ) UTT

Looked good. He's a bit raw but that's to be expected from a 19 year old without to much first team experience, but overall I was very impressed

Sounds promising.
Lukas has a real problem with his stamina and you'll began to notice it soon.
When he was at Plymouth, Paul Sturrock said: "Lukas is still here but he has had a real problem with certain aspects of his stamina. It has caused us some problems and forced us to take him out of the squad, which has been a real blow to me - a real disappointment. Something periodically hits him and we can't get to the bottom of it."
When he game back to us we obviously has specialists look at it. It's something relating to his growth, by all accounts though he'll get over it with age.

Thought he did well for the first 40 minutes. He can only get better as he gets match fit. Don't think it will be long before we see the Polish flag reappear at the Gfarm.

Rarely seen a player so knackered after 45 minutes! But to be fair, he was good in the first half, one stinging left foot drive which nearly led to a tap-in for someone (Collins?). Looks like he might have a goal or two in him.

He looks like just what we have been after in the first half. Showed for the ball to feet, won more than his fair share of headers and was prepared to put his body on the line on a number of occassions. Yeah he tired but why didn't he knock the ball & keeper into the back of the net in the second half when their keeper had to deal (badly) with that bobbling back pass!
I thought Roberts was great in the first half too dropping into the hole and finding time and space on the ball. What a cracking three points. We MUST take something from these next two away days though now.
Beating the reigning champions of europe, it just beggars belief doesn't it.

Thing is, we were magnificent today... yeah we had to really dig in 2nd half but should have made it 2 at the end, next week when we are expected to win we always seem to slip up..... 3 points is a must next week and hoefully at stockport also...

I wont even start on Jevons second half performance he didnt give the ball away as much as roberts who IMO was leeds most dangerous player Roberts was clearly lacking match fitness, Brizzle away and/or reserve match would have done him the world of good. As a side, his 2nd half tackle on Delph as he broke away from a corner was superb (who is in no way, shape or form good enough to grace an England shirt).

For someone who's not been playing 90 mins regularly I thought he did decent job, held it up and tried to anchor things. Those who were saying Jevons would be a different player if he was partnered with someone big and strong to play off...well, he's running out of excuses fast!
