Think LC is understanding the frustration that the fans are having with Lukas, it is a shame that we have a "talented" player from a respectible premiership club and he is unable to perform, i personally hope he is given another chance this season, just to see his reaction, i know i will get slated for this, but you never know, maybe his young career need this kick up the arse to show he cant juts come to a league 1 club and do f**k all. I didnt go to the game today, and personally im glad i didnt go. But anyway lets look the Hereford game, and hopefully there will be some changes to the side i for one hope that we play Roberts (LW), Pilkington (CM), Ainsworth (RW), Cadamateri (ST) along with Jutkievicz (ST) just to see how we go and try something slightly new. I would even throw James Berrett into the mix too, rest Robbie Williams for Werling (LB). After all the season is over now and its worth giving it a go to see how we do.
Keep the Faith!

CAN'T EVEN BE ARSED READING IT. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. Was just about to say the same. Lee Clark always comes out and speaks well, however we dont seem to be getting any better. Time to put these words into practice.

That seems to be his main strength, speaking before and after games, he really needs to put all this amazing dialogue into the heads and feet of his players because what he says and what actually happens are two different things.

Can somebody tell me if he has confessed to making mistake himself yet, or is it still down to the players. The same players that have beat Scunthorpe, Leeds, etc??

Actually heard the interview as I drove home. The man is rambling, going round in circles and quite frankly, boring.

One thing to note, both Turnip and LC seem very willing to call the players crap, particularly when deserved, and the players performances get worse.
Why?
My only observation is that some players are both physically and mentally 'soft'.
When Murphy was in charge, he only said how much the sun shone out their arses.
This is not a dig at LC, Steve Black, or a glorification of Murphy. Just an observation.

Nothing about having to play a centre back at right back because the central midfielder who usually plays there is injured, leading to another in a long line of AWFULL full back appearences by Tom Clarke because we didn't think to sign a right back in the January window even though we don't have one ,but went for a 4th left back option instead?
Nothing about sticking with a back 4 against 10 men for the second time recently against struggling opposition, with the same disappointing end result. If Clark can't see this is rubbish tactically, then what exactly are McDermott and Fazackerly doing? Shouldn't they be earning their considerable salaries and pointing out to Clark what a pile of negative crap it is?
Nothing about why Lucas is still having the honour of wearing a Town shirt after such pityfull, halfhearted, bone idle performances. We have Broadbent out on loan and yet we're giving valuable first team experience to that UTTER waste of space who isn't even our player!! Never mind Lutkiewicz apologising Lee. How about YOU apologise for signing such a staggeringly poor player and putting him in the team whilst we loan out Broadbent , Denton and Parker. How about you apologise for inheriting a diabolical striker situation and managing to actually do the impossible and make it WORSE!

Blame Clark all you want for Lukas, but don't blame him for loaning out Denton, Broadbent and Parker, none of who can score for their new clubs apart from Denton who's playing for a pub team.

Actually heard the interview as I drove home. The man is rambling, going round in circles and quite frankly, boring. Absolutely! I don't know where all this "Clark talks brilliantly" comes from. When he does talk, some of the time, he talks a lot of sense. But, today ... he seemed to repeat the Lukas Jutkiewicz statements ... 2 or 3 times ... and that was about it! He also was pretty hesitant at the beginning, thinking aloud, coming to no conclusions.

He also was pretty hesitant at the beginning, thinking aloud, coming to no conclusions. In all fairness, I imagine he doesn't get a huge amount of time to think up a flowing monologue. Questions are on the spot, and particularly following a poor performance, are going to be probing, esp wrt to the Lukas incident. He seems like a man of reasonable integrity, so isn't exactly going to slate a player as most (and I) would on here. Okay, so his answers aren't going to win awards, but consider the circumstances. Some people just aren't so eloquent when put on the spot.

CAN'T EVEN BE ARSED READING IT. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. Say you are in a position after having a shocker and a paddy about being subbed would you want the manager to give you another chance and show some faith or put you further down ripping all confidence out of you? I bet Clark is seething inside. If Cads or even jevons don;t start next game then there is something wrong with Clark.

clark is tactically naive.after they were reduced to 10 men we should have subbed williams for ainsworth gone 343 and won the game.simple as that!

And the only one who adds to our attacks? I agree with idea but I'd have taken off Clarke. Who in his defence looked better as game went on and he got used to it, and think given a few games could be great in that position

Are you having a laugh? He took roberts off cos he was poor and did sod all!!! He could have taken off collins (the invisible man!) or goodwin (mr one dimensional pass from middle to left!) just the same. Williams was one of our better players and certainly deserved to stay on - tom clarke on the other hand!!!

A really good left or right back needs to be strong, reasonably quick and decent in the air. Tom Clarke is none of these, totally out of his depth in that position today. I'm not sure we should be keeping him on, along with 7 or 8 others at the moment if we are realy serious about promotion next year.

He sounded incoherent - was it the crushing disappointment? I said at 70 minutes to get Tom Clarke off and play 4-3-3 also.

Leave the full backs on, even Tom Clarke cos they offer width, and take one of the two centre backs off who are basically doing nothing, preferably Lucketti cos hes rubbish.
Im not bothered about Denton tbh but id rather broadbent be getting 1st team experience than that waste of space from everton. Even if he isn't up to it ,at least its OUR lad who's not up to it, not some other clubs player who's ambling round looking like a bored teenager. And why loan out Parker? Poor as hes been nearly all season, he's still the best striker we have on the books!

I understand Dean Hoyle is inviting everyone to a...
"let's show Lee Clark how easy it is to be a football manager" event down at the Gas Club...
:-)
Maybe we want a manager who's completely outspoken and provides a decent media circus...
