My Son was a mascot at Norwich in 1997.... we got beat 4-1 with jacko, the longest worst journey ive ever had the delight to make.... no motorway just all minor roads.... took about 4 and half hours !!

Personally, I'd prefer the three weakest possible teams to come down, to increase Town's chances of promotion. So, is that Norwich or Barnsley...?

Norwich are far more likely to do a Leicester. Barnsley will just slot straight back into their natural home.

without Howard they were always going to be buggered.

These are the last 2 remaining fixtures for the relegation haunted clubs from the Championship.
Barnsley - 48 points
Wolves (Home) Plymouth (Away)
Norwich City - 46 points
Reading (Home) Charlton (Away)
Nottingham Forest - 49 points
Blackpool (Away) Southampton (Home)
Plymouth - 50 points
Queens Park Rangers (Away) Barnsley (Home)
Southampton - 44 points
Burnley (Home) Nottingham Forest (Away)
Personally, I think Barnsley have the hardest fixtures as Wolves need only a point to secure the title and also the long distant game at Plymouth as well to contain with, especially if Plymouth still need a result to secure their place in the Championship.

Could have done without them getting 2 points from their last two games though.

I work with the inbreds, want em to come down so much that i just know they'll survive. Only a matter of time before we're above them though and we can wipe the smug grin off their faces that they've had for the last 3 years.

I hope t'Barnsley go down. What I really want is Charlton to give a game to a load of academy kids against Norwich on the last day, and get well beaten, sending t'Barnsley down. Would be a case of what comes around goes around, after Barnsley's boss Spackman played a team of teenagers in the final game at Portsmouth in 2001. Portsmouth managed by his old team mate and pervert Graham Rix, with the result Pompey cuffed them easily as we went down. Plus Norwich is a tw*t of a journey and like someone says, they'll be right up there next season whilst t'barnsley will be upper mid table.

Once again a thread on DATM has me shaking my head in bewilderment. Even if a) Barnsley weren't from Yorkshire b) The vast majority of Forest fans weren't arrogant tw**s c) A day out in Nottingham wasn't infinitely preferable to one in Barnsley d) Nottingham have stolen Robin Hood (who everyone knows was a Yorkshireman) aren't certain events from 1984 enough to make all people from Huddersfield want those scabby red bar-stewards to go down rather than our friends from Oakwell. PS The fact the number1 bus (which stops less than 200 yards from my house) crosses Trent Bridge is completely irrelevant to my views on the above just a bonus

Yeah it's wierd is that one because personally I would rate Anderson-Silva, Hassell and Diego Leon as your best 3! Football is all a matter of opinions though and your best players will differ even with your own fans.

Barnsley is nearer & cheaper & as they still harp on about the 7-1 horror, I hate 'em as well.
Norwich is a tedious journey away (spent a week there recently) although the ground looks good from the outside & I haven't seen a match there before.
So relegation for the tykes I hope.

Top three this saturday for the player of the year award should be........ 1) Bobby Hassell. 2) Hugo Colace. 3) Stephen Foster. Honourable mention to........ * Daniel Bogdanovic but he arrived too late. * Darren Moore. * Anderson De Silva.
