Have a new forum, where fans from all teams can go and chat about their clubs. The reason this message board has been set up, is to try and keep all the all the "my clubs better then your club" business, in one controlled area and also allow a bit more friendly banter than what other sites allow The set up is designed to be as neutral as possible. Also "IF" the forum takes off, (and its a big if at the moment as I'm not sure how people will take to the idea) each club will be represented by a Moderator to ensure all teams are equal within the forum. Please follow the link to register and start posting yorkshire.the-talk.net/index.htm Once registered if you fancy being a Moderator please PM Admin Also Please keep it civil and if your not prepared to do so, don't bother registering, personal abuse of other members will not be tolerated and will result in a permanent ban Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope to see you on the forum soon

I have to say the forum shown above is an excellent place to discuss your club with both fellow fans and fans from other yorkshire clubs. It's very friendly and there is a brilliant sense of camaraderie between all users.

We've had more Terriers join this week. Think more of you should take a look and see what it's all about. It's time for there to be more Huddersfield Town fans on there. Don't want to have less members when Leeds turn up!! You know what they're like.

To be honest, I'd prefer a board for pennine clubs, either side - think we've got more in common and less distracting rivalry with the likes of Oldham, Burnley, Bury, Rochdale, Stockport etc than we have with most of the Yorkshire teams.

I can just about come to terms with Boro and Hull in old Yorkshire, but Chesterfield? You mean that place in HUMBERSIDE that just loves to call itself Yorkshire, no thanks.

Humberside is a modern invention, surely we can reclaim Hull as our own come the revolution along with Middlesboro. But no to Chesterfield!

Every one of us in Hull and the East Riding are extremely proud to be Yorkshire and have never accepted that this fictional thing called 'Humberside' ever existed.
I apparently lived in this fictional place from 1974 to sometime in the 90's, but I've never written it on my address.
Every road sign around my way that bore the word 'Humberside' was vandalised and had the words East Yorkshire sprayed on them (I know someone who did it) and the council couldn't keep up.
I know our friends in North and North East Lincolnshire that got lumped together with us in this charade felt exactly the same, thankfully we now have our proper county names back, despite still annoyingly having the 'Humberside' county council and 'Humberside' police, apparently it is too costly to change.
Middlesbrough is a bit different as although they were traditionally in Yorkshire they seemed to accept the change to Teeside and have no desire to get their Yorkshire identities back, seems odd but that's up to them.
Chesterfield has never had owt to do with Yorkshire.

Semi related side note - It amazed me the first time I went up to Holme Moss, dropped down the hill at the back and was informed I was in Derbyshire!

I we are nearer Derbyshire t what you'd have thought. Think the whole Humberside thing is similiar to the Kirklees Council which has been thrust upon us.

I love all your comments and many of you will probably be pleased to hear that Chesterfield had been removed from the forum so we'd welcome you all to come along and have a look. There have been a fair few members arrive since I last posted on here so please come along.

There have been a fair few members arrive since I last posted on here so please come along. There isn't any discussion though is there? It's just a chance for fans of Doncaster (what a tool that hoolahoop is ), Barnsley, Huddersfield etc to see who can post the most anti-Leeds stuff. You're not going to get Leeds fans going on there.
