Come then, let's be having you...if we can make 8 a side that would do. I have some 'special' golf items made up for everyone that takes part I'd like to be able to book this in tomorrow but will wait til end of week if needs be. It won't be Low Laithes now BTW. (Unless they come up with a stonking offer) It will be either Normanton or Owston HallThis could be a cracking event IMO |

Right guys, the Wendies mob have a few players already down for this one! we will be playing for the Simmonsen Cup!!!! at Owsten GC. Bacon Sarnie 18 holes followed by steak pie and chips £35. Think donation is £6 to the charity that Wednesday support, but we will be having a return fixture against them on a course of our choice later in the year for YAA.I can tell you Micheal Vaughan has been asked but cant attend so Sheff boys taking this serious!!!!Now where did I put that E-Mail for Mr Legend!????? COME ON LADS LETS GET THIS ON!!!!

I have 8 cast iron and possibly 10.
I'm going to Owston tomorrow dinner time and I'll sound them out a bit...I will try and hold it off until the weekend, Sat or Sunday to pay the deposit.

Just need 2 more lads for this if Galpharmer is making one in! if not 3 lads required! come on lads, its same as our golf day, just in the hands of our friends from Sheffield. Ive spoke to the organiser and he is well keen for us to attend, and he has just paid deposits to cover costs. lets make a massive effort and get a couple more lads on this day.

I've scoured the earth looking for a decent weather forecast and just can't find one...heartbreaking!
I've had a couple drop out from our end so we now have 7, if we can match up it makes things easier if not one of our lads has said he'll drop out but still play the round.
We have a 5 hcp
4 around the 20 mark and 2 x 28s
I'm really looking forward to this....HOPING the weather doesn't spoil it totally.
If we're matching 6 players would you prefer 3 pairs or singles?
If we have 7 each or less than 6 then it'll be singles obviously.

Make sure you go to the Owston Hall hotel when you get there, park around the hotel...I'm guessing the car park won't be full ;D
If you go to the other place it's the 9 hole course and you'll be waiting ages.
