Just seen coverage - Rhodes was a good yard onside when the ball was struck.

Doesn't surprise me.
That lino made a few bad decisions but after that the crowd was giving him loads of shit even when he was making the correct decision.
Roberts was about 2 yards offside on one occasion and the crowd went mental when the lino gave offside!
The officials weren't great yesterday but didn't make too many really bad calls other than the goal and wards booking.

He was deffo onside,I always move down that end of the Kilner Bank second half when they are shooting that way and he was well onside. The lino down there made some right rickets and was getting the dogs abuse big time.

The throw in infront of the dugouts was one of the most confusing decisions I've ever seen.
Clarke shepherds the ball out, about 10 yards into our half. Lino gives throw in to scunny, and throw is taken about 15 yards further back up the pitch.

How many times did Scunny handball it, must have been at least 4 times without punishment.

Ref was same ref we had against Oldham last year, when both sets of fans were singing " you don't know what you're doing."

I'm used to having awful ref's down here but it was good to see the linesmen getting in on the act as well! All 3 were terrible. For both teams it has to be said.

I thohgh the ref did fairly well but was let down by his two offcials. The free-kick against Arfield was a joke.

To be fair there was a point in 2nd half when Morrison slid in, fouled their guy, practically picked up the ball, then Hunt fouled the same guy and we got a free kick!!

Did their defender chuck it out for a corner down in front of their fans early in the 1st half? Player had their back to me so I couldn't tell if it was already out of play but judging by the reaction of the fans in the DG Lower should have been a pen?

No matter how poor the officials were, it is inexcusable to have two bookings for dissent.

No matter how poor the officials were, it is inexcusable to have two bookings for dissent. True, but Ward's in particular was amazingly harsh when you compare it to what goes on week in, week out. There should be the opportunity for players to discuss decisions with the officials, as long as it's not in an aggressive way. Though I think the only way we'll get to this will be when the FA finally strap on a pair and bring in retrospective bookings for players intimidating referees into decisions and a worthwhile appeals process; once this is sorted out, hopefully players will be able to discuss decisions with officials in a civilised way.

I was waiting for a decision on the big screen to indicate whether a Try had been scored.

Someone said near me- that if their players only touched it with 1 hand then it wasn't handball for the ref or lino's

Why can't there be a sub Lino/ref too! If players have bad games off they go! Assessor in the stand could decide this quite easily!

All that said the old saying "it evens itself out" Let's look back at Alan lees goal against Brentford where he did the old Nat Lofthouse and put the keeper in the net !! Should that have stood? The only one who didn't see the foul was the ref
