It's back... After achieving a well deserved Wembley victory yesterday - a crazy number of players will be linked to Town. Who do you want to see signed / kept. One decent bit of business done already by our promotion rivals Sheffield Wednesday in the signing of goalkeeper Chris Kirkland... Let the fun commence...

Barnsley, it simply has to be Sean Morrison as the first and most important signing, what a Guy.
George Boyd from Peterborough, a real class act and murders us every time he plays us.
That`s two for starters!.

I agree Morley.
Morrison can be a Town legend in my eyes. So young but looks so composed and wins everything. We wouldn't have stood a chance of keeping him if we'd of stayed down.
I'd also like Adam Clayton and a striker who has hit form recently - yes Jon Stead.

I agree re Stead, although I suspect that will not get much support on here. I also think we are in for at least one big `signature` signing, a real Top name that will be big news in and out of the Club and the kind of Player we could never have dreamed of signing for Town.

Be a brilliant signing but he has just re-signed at Blackpool for a year.

I can see 2 or 3 arrived from our neighbours. Snodgrass has been banded around but there's no chance of that. Is there?
I think Clayton is better, younger and quicker than what we have.
Exciting times ahead!

Exciting times ahead! .......no chance re Snodgrass Barnsley and re Clayton, still not sure!. I honestly do not want any of the Players from Leeds that are potentially available, there are none that I really rate, apart from Snodgrass of course. June 1st is when a lot of Rangers Players can potentially leave on the cheap and Steven Naismith is out and out quality. I 'hate' Beckford.
I 'hated' Grayson.
Rhodes, Beckford, Stead & Novak.

Don't care at the moment. Let the players who got us promoted enjoy their achievement.

Matt Ritchies or Darren Powell think we need a new top quality winger.

Agree with you Morley. Was saying George Boyd and Morrisson myself yesterday. Also would like us to look at Quinn.
Out of teh box and dreaming a bit Heskey and Owen are on availiable as free agents :ninja:

He would need to stay on his feet more though, he went down every time one of our Players went anywhere near him (and the ref fell for it every time giving him a free-kick!).

I agree, was saying this on the drive back. Can see Deano letting Grayson go for one big signing to send a message out to both the floating fans and the rest of the league. Not sure who that would be though. Morrison has to be the first signing, he's been an absolute star. Would also like to see Clayton come in (box to box midfielder with genuine quality from what I've seen), and if that rumour about him being a guest of the club for the play-off semi is true then it seems likely. Would also like to see us go for George Boyd and Stephen Quinn. Think we need to trim the numbers and improve the quality, would like to see some of the young lads filling the squad out, although it seems that Spencer is the only only ready

We need a quality midfield player who can get the ball down, control the game and open up the channels where Rhodes is most lethal.

Think Hoyle will back Grayson and when Rhodes leaves we can spend the money we get from him on team rebuilding. Some great shouts on here though Boyd,Quinn I assume you mean Stephen Quinn who played yesterday for Sheffield United? He would be a decent signing and he was the only Sheffield United player that stood out yesterday. I said Beckford before a couple of weeks ago, he would be a good replacement for Rhodes. Forget Heskey, Owen on a pay as you play basis as he always seems crocked. Snodgrass? Is he available on a free?

Adam Clayton was in an executive box for the MK Dons game at our place!
Big pals with SG and out of contract, I think its highly likely he will be straight in over the summer!

Heard something about Lewis Grabban joining, good signing if we do as he is fast and that's what we need.

Morrison first! Rhodes second!
I really thought their young cb yesterday played well against Rhodes. Their rb lowton has been brilliant all season. Quinn did play well yesterday too.
I don't really know many from the championship so can't say any other names.

Forgot to put...
Simon said on the official site a few weeks ago that he had already given deano his list of players he would like, there's two lists he said, one if we got promoted and another of we didn't.
He said obviously one might excite people more than the other.
It also said in yesterday's programme that he still feels he needs to make his own mark on the team and of we get promoted that will be easier to do.
