I think Scharner is going to be out of our range, although he would be a cracking signing. If that story about Rhodes apparently going to be offered £15k a week is true, and that's the biggest contract in the club's history, there's no way that Scharner will be looking for less than that I think, as an established Premier League player.

We ought to get Kevin McDonald now out of contract. Was at Sheffield United but didn't play yesterday.
Was key to their good run

I think DH and SG are in for a BUSY summer! The squad is not nearly good enough to have a genuine chance of even mid-table next season.

Wasn't it rumoured we've already signed a striker on a pre-contract agreement? Some highly rated Icelandic guy, some connection with Joey.

Was key to their good run Very good player and very well paid, but spent a lot of last season injured. Repetitive hamstrings and other soft tissue damage suggest that he is not a VW. How much have we paid Naysmith for his contributions over the last 2 years? We should have known better given his injury history and I don't think we should make that mistake again.

Stephen Quinn. Best player on the pitch yesterday.
Dean Hammond - not good enough for Premiership, but a sound asset
A quick striker (Rhodes is a quick thinker, but has no real pace, other than over 5 yards)
Morrison (as stated above. Good game yesterday. No nonsense.) and another CB, too!
An additional full back.
Get Gary Roberts to decide what to do. (Did you notice he tracked back well yesterday. Much better, Gary!)

Roberts said he hadn't been offered a contract at the end of year do, but I think Larry tried to buy him a couple of times for Leeds, which shows he rates him. Sad to say, but his best performances might be in the past. Those 2-2s against Leeds him and Pilks were unplayable.

Lewington would have been good if we stayed down but not sure for championship.
I was really impressed with all of sheffields back four. Their lb and rb were good going forward too. Their CBs didn't let Rhodes have a sniff all game.

definitely Morrison as first signing! was very impressed by Daniel Powell at MK Dons too! I heard Clayton may go to one of the 'bigger' championship clubs but my l**ds mates say he was one of their star players this year along with Snodgrass and McCormack.
Any thoughts on Damien Johnson? thought he was class throughout play offs but worried he's too injury prone and won't hack championship level. Grant McCann has been transfer listed by Peterborough though would love to see him signed, can't see George Boyd coming though. If we signed Beckford it would be unbelievable but let's be realistic he'd probably want wages of 30k+!! Quinn looked class for Sheffield United yesterday would definitely take him!

One things for sure we have the best men in place for knowing who is good. Grayson and team are still fresh out of the championship and know it inside out, excellent advantage

I was asked about Bradley Wright Phillips. From seeing him at St Mary's, I'm not convinced he could consistently produce the goods in the Championship. Certainly pacy, though.
In any event, given that Charlton have also been promoted, would he move?
By the way, do not vote for either Harding or Fox from Saints. Defensively naive.

Friends with a couple of Leicester City fans, who were saying Pelts isn't thought of too favourably nowadays down there. With us and them in the same league theres no reason we can't get him back. He loved Huddersfield. I watched the game yesterday on SkySports and he was one of the pundits, you could really tell he wanted us to win. Would be very useful too if Jack Hunt does get snapped up by someone bigger. Emile Heskey would be a coup too
