at a medical the club takes the players BMI height weight for records, then they check for any medical problems by making them run on a tredmill and ride a bike whilst on a heart and breathing machine, basically all they do is check the player is fit and healthy!  Did they check Alan Lee's BMI?  No just his inside leg! |

Some BBC reporter has just put this on Twitter, @shamoonhafez: Huddersfield say "no contact made with #MUFC midfielder Oliver Norwood" but player considering 'several' other offers.

Same news on the networks that he is at huddersfield having a medical . Looks like a dome deal if that is the case as contracts are signed subject to medical.

Don't count your chickens, looks to me as though he's playing games, why would he tell Barnsley he's not signing for them before he's signed for HTFC, ?

So Hill will have said no that's too much for us where out, and got our press man to say so on the net so his agent can't say the same thing to other clubs trying to pump his wage up, That don't mean its nailed on that he's signing for you lot, because his agent might be on the blower to other clubs at the minute, letting them know what you've offered you never know in football, your now front runners but until he's signed on the dotted line don't be getting his name on your new shirt,

i'm guessing that his agent as come out and told Hill Hudders have offered x amount, trying to get us to up the offer but Hill as said no thats too much for us, Then made it known to Hudders that we're out so the agent can't go to Hudders saying can you up it because Barnsley have matched it, so if its not happened and the agent was lying he could end up signing for us, sayng he got offered more money but decided to come here for football reasons, it'll be a load of shite but thats what happens a lot these days with agents, there all lying b@stards and say anything to get more money out of clubs.

Just fortunate for us that we have better attendances and a better chairman that we have the funds to offer better terms. Also I would expect someone from Sheff to call them Inbreds and Dingles but not from round here.. hardly two towns a class apart are we? :frusty: |

Maybe he was at the stadium just to talk to us and not for a medical?
He's in no rush, if he's in demand he just waits, looks at offers, negotiates and picks who he wants.
Could be another week before he decides, doesn't matter to the lad does it.

I've asked my mate from uni who is a big Man Utd fan and he said
'he's a tidy center midfielder, more offensive than defensive. Lacks a bit in strength but is very good on the ball, and from what I've seen i think he likes to play football on the ground. Quite a few UTD fans thought he had a pretty good chance of making it here. He's been linked with quite a few established championship clubs so would be a very good capture.'
