Granted, people have strong opinions on the issue on both sides, so prejudices might come into some posts on here or people's general views. However, you say the campaign is 'sheer stupidity' - my question to you is how is it in any way stupid to demand a share in the stadium we pay the greatest share of the operating costs for, we paid the greatest share of the construction cost for etc. Furthermore, the campaign isn't solely based on prejudice, there's documentary evidence out there to support what we say, and Davy's statements on the issue are also readily accessible. Your suggestion therefore is unfair to those coordinating the campaign, and seems to completely misunderstand what it is the protest campaign is actually saying - perhaps you'd do well to read over what we have to say before you come here being judgmental. In fact, I'd go as far as to say the only one showing prejudice is you... |

It's pretty clear you know your stuff on this subject. I can't promise you anything, but it wouldn't surprise me if the multitude of HTFC fans who have spent many, many years researching the events surrounding the shares, gathering evidence from accounts and public statements and various meetings with the people concerned will be seriously having to re-think their opinions of Davy after coming up against you. When someones buys a failed soccer club and takes on it's debts,they also take on any assets,such as shares in a failed stadium company.Fraid that's just a fact of life. |

I always wondered which side of this were twisting the facts.
So its great that we can now sleep at night knowing davy actually did assett strip Town of its shares to protect the club. It's so nice to know he had the club's interests at heart after all and wasn't just doing it for his own benefit.
Do you have an agenda? Is it to appear simple?

What I don't accept is that in 2003, the stadium company was worth a total of £5, or that the share needed transferring to protect the football club from apparent liabilities. Furthermore, if this was to protect the football club, why then are we not entitled to have them back now that the club is in a healthy financial state. The quoted price is, I believe, £3mn, would you care to explain how the share has increased in value by £2,999,998 during the past 8 years, and if it hasn't, why weren't we paid a fairer price for the share when Davy transferred it? |

Super league is dying on it's arse, big time. When Sky pull the plug (and they will) then that will be the final nail in the coffin for SL and the majority of the teams that take part in it.
