Well twitter is certainly rife with the story..........
but really......
1. Why would Brighton risk paying £5m on a player not tried above league one?
2. Why would JR want to even consider wanting to play for a team of similar status to us?
3. Why would DH even consider selling to a division rival and strengthen an opponent. (He is a astute business man and that's plain bad business
4. One of their rumors also state Joe Cole too! So thats the level of rumor fire they are at right now!

Why the fook would Brighton risk 5million on a player never proven in the championship??? More to the point, Town have valued Rhodes at £8mil, so why would we sell him for £5mil and swap for a striker worth at the very, very most £400k? |

Pointless ? 1) We have more season ticket holders then anyone in this division. 2) Best young manager outside the Premiership 3) We are attracting world class players to the Amex like Bridge,Vicente,Kuszczak etc. Players you could only dream about 4) We have a mega rich chairman who is willing to spend 5) Our stadium is one of the best. 6) the Amex sold more pints than the Emirates last year. I could carry on all day if you want ? |

On what planet is any of the three mentioned players world class? Very good yes. Messi, Ronaldo, Aguero, Xavi etc are world class. Wayne bridge has never been world class even in his prime, good signing...absolutely but cut the world class bolloxs!
