1) We have more season ticket holders then anyone in this division. Hurray?
2) Best young manager outside the Premiership Opinion, nothing more
3) We are attracting world class players to the Amex like Bridge,Vicente,Kuszczak etc. Players you could only dream about None of them are world class and never have been.
4) We have a mega rich chairman who is willing to spend Yeah, we have a chairman willing to spend too, what's your point?
5) Our stadium is one of the best. Opinion, nothing more
6) the Amex sold more pints than the Emirates last year. So? Who cares? It's hardly something that's going to make someone think "wow, I must join Brighton, they're huge, they sold more pints than the Emirates last season"
Brighton have signed some good players and are my outside bet for promotion but world class!! Hahaha seriously what you been smoking lad!!!
For those of you maybe too young to remember his glory days or for those who don’t follow Spanish football Vicente was a part of the most successful Valencia side of the modern era. Joining in 2000 he helped the club to two La Liga titles, one UEFA Cup, one European Super Cup and the Copa Del Rey, as well as reaching the Champions League Final in 2001. He also won 38 caps for the Spanish national side, all by the time he was 23.
So what if Bridge has 36 caps? That doesn't make him world class. World class is Messi. Bridge is good. That's it. I wouldn't even call him really good, but to call him world class, wow, what have you been drinking?
I wouldn't swap your 3 world class players for JR even if you chucked in a couple million on top! Vicente wasn't world class in 2001/2/3 he was very good in a very good team! Shevchencko, Fat Ronaldo, zidane and figo were world class at that time! Your football knowledge is pump!

I have a friend that's now a coach at Man City, a former pro of Rotherham and Leeds. Played with Will Hoskins and is very good friends with him still. He's also friends with Jordan Rhodes' agent.
I assumed this was a wind-up....then I went on the Brighton forum.
!!!!!
They actually believe they have a chance of getting Rhodes....!
- "So Jordan, we'd love you to stay at Huddersfield, but we've had offers from Fulham, Norwich, Spurs, West Ham and Reading. Obviously we wont stand in your way if someone can stump up £8m, or you want away." - "Nah boss, all those teams are great, but I'm really holding out for Brighton. I heard that they sold more pints last year than the Emerites." - "You'd rather go to a club that was in the third tier of football last season than an established Premier League side?" - "Well when you put it like that..."

thought he,d just been offered a new contracy worth 1.2 mill a year. and why eould he go to brighton when prem clubs after him . WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT!!!
don't know whether there's anything in this rumour or not but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Hoyle sold Rhodes for 5 mil plus a player.
He's not worth anywhere near 8 mil, that was just a silly over-inflated price tag, reckon any offers around 5.5-6 mil and Hoyle will let him go
Hoyle has pretty much said that anything less than £8m, and to a mid-table (or higher) PL team, then there's no point.
We don't need to sell, and if anything it could hamper Rhodes' development, not enhance it.
2:12 in.
All Hoyle says there is that he wants him to stay and that he wont go anywhere unless its for the right money. Doesn't give any indication of what that is (doesnt mention 8 mil)
If a club in the same div as us meets his valuation then i think he'll sell
just goes to show how easy it is to start a rumour that is total bullshot. Listen to hoyle on bfbs interview and you`ll hear he aint selling rhodes to a club that isn`t established premier league.

If Hoyle's valuation was £5m or less then Rhodes would already be a Reading player, and we'd have Morrison.
not winding people up guys, job is to go on fans forums and spread our word to help our site and followers, just hope for a discussion to follow or a rumour this site seems to be ignoring might come back to bite
If you're that 'big' and 'correct', folk would come to you, not the other way round.

If Jordan goes, he goes to the Premiership. A move to Brighton would be pointless. If you're going to post a wind-up, at least make it credible. This is just rubbish.
Pointless ?

I could carry on all day if you want ?
Are any of those a reason for a player to sign for a club in the same division? I can really see Jordan being swayed by a nice stadium that sells a lot of beers.
