SG said he hoped to have all his new players in, in time for the start of preseason.
That's this Thursday. I think we will see a few new players this week. I would be very surprised if a few others haven't left either.
Exciting 3 days.

I think SG said he'd LIKE to have his squad completed by the start of pre season as it starts to creat cohesion etc. I took that comment to mean he won't necessarily have his squad completed by that time.
It may or it am not be an interesting 3 days ahead but I'd be very surprised if everything in Town's transfer dealings (in or out) were sorted by Thursday this week.

I just can't see any massive panic to get "a player, any player" by the time we start pre-season. Yes it would be nice to have everyone there together but getting the right person at anytime is more important.

Always would like majority of signings in to get a proper pre season in...but sometimes you have to be patient to get the quality. Take when we signed Rhodes a few days before the season started.

What you would like and how it pans out are sometimes very different. When players are been sought after by numerous clubs, ot negotions with clubs become complex, it can take time.
Much rather he gets his targets rather than rush into accepting someone just because of a quick deal.

No rush whatsoever!
As long as they can have a few weeks before the 1st competitive match to bed in. They should be working on their fitness already so they won't miss much!
