Productive day overall - maybe a home friendly at last - new physio sorted hopefully - plus a few surprises and the odd set back

Home friendly yes!!!! I assumed the lack of a home friendly was always due to town reusing to fork out money to Uncle Ken as I guess friendlies dont attract enough numbers to negate the financial costs of staging a game but perhaps I was wrong!

Chris Senior was part of the backroom team at Wembley and is in the photos once we'd won :scarf:
I think he's a trained masseur and runs his own business but could be wrong. Maybe he is part of the new medical team as they seem to be called these days

Nigel Clibbensþ@NClibbens plus a few surprises and the odd set back Peltier in and Jack Hunt to Birmingham? No Nigel went on to explain more in that the surprise was the fact we may have to run an U-21 team as part of EPPP and the set back was the rain affecting Canalside development

I'd be surprised if we let Buckby and Hirst go without having another physio team in line.

it is interesting and a good idea, however even though the lower league clubs don't lose money on their young players, the downside is the fans won't get to see their better academy players in the first team as they will have gone to the likes of chelsea

I think this is an interesting and important topic that has hidden inside this thread.
I definately like the idea of an under 21 league. It gives it more class and appeal than a reserve league (which I always considered a 'commiserations for not being in the first team' league.
I would definately be more interested in it as you know it isn't just crocks & has beens. It's up and coming, players of potential etc.
However. I would be concerned at travel costs to the club. Where would we play the game? (would extra games at galpharm cost us?)

New physio highly rated and worked with Wales towards the end of last season. So thanks to promotion not only do we have international breaks for some of our new players now, we also have it for our physio :scarf:
