brooky s doing the medical as we speak What does that involve, seeing if he can dress himself properly? Or are we talking a different Brooky?? Or does Brooky have hidden talents that we don't know about?

oggy just tweeted:
''htafc are indeed on the brink of signing Joel Lynch if his medical's right; Dervite might still come too, (but that deal FAR from done yet)''

A good, developing player last season. Better at CB when i've seen him, not the quickest though.
Has a history of being injury prone. Could just have been a season of bad luck, or maybe not.
Either way i would of prefered Morrison but i'm sure he'll do the job. Clarke however is a different story altogether. Far too slow and mistake prone to handle this league im affraid!

I have been told directly from an Ex Forest player who works for me, that there is a strong chance he is coming our way. He says he was a bit part player under Davis, but Cotterel played him at full back, then centre half - where he excelled!! He has pace and my colleague rates him very very highly!! Played a key part in them staying up!! Scored a couple of goals from set pieces late on in the season too. Genuine 'rumour' from a genuine ex forest (regular, well known) player. FIGO

What a load of crap. 'genuine' made up nonsense. Hope its not the same ex-forest player that believes Lynch is a good player because that's nonsense.

With that Dervite lad coming too, i get the impression this is definitely the end of Morrison i'm afraid. Has this guy got pace?

Some claims that he failed a medical at Derby last week. Clutching at straws, me thinks. Surely he would fail ours if he only failed one a week ago... Let's wait and see.

I always thought medicals to be slightly strange. Look at how Demba Ba failed his medical at Stoke and how Owen Hargeaves passed his for City. A player can be fit or unfit at the time of a transfer, you can't control what happens later in the season.

I wouldn't say we need him. I'd love him to come but it's not like we'll be doomed if he doesn't. I'm sure Morrison would be good enough for the Championship but this guy sounds like he's been excellent at this level (when played in his preferred position) so if we can't get Sean back he'll do for me.

pretty sure medicals depend on the club as in will give certain leeway depending on current situation, i.e. if they know a player is recovering from injury hardly going to not sign him if they knew this previously. Is it not to look for any obvious and underlying issues with the player which shouldnt be there...
