Anybody heard anything about that lad we got from Scotland? Coogans I think he's called.
I must admit, I don't follow the development side as much as I should but I beard he was a real talent.

Goalkeeper Clark Bogard from West Ham has joined on work experience. Haven't we enough Goalkeepers or are the ones we've got not good enough.

Latest in U18's: #htafc U18 1 - 0 Birmingham City: Liam Coogans converts an early chance; just 10 minutes into the first half (TH)

Jack Boyle had a couple of impressive moments in that clip along with his goal. Anyone that watches him regularly got an opinion on if he looks capable of making the step up? Looks a bit on the small side which I never see as an issue but many in the Pro game still seem to

Very good player, he is small but loves a tackle and is technically very good playing and scoring for 21s as well so there's a chance

Why are they playing at Stalybridge? I'm sure I read something about pitch over use over the festive period. Would have been five games in four weeks if that had held at our ground after Brum, Bolton, Reading and then Watford on Saturday.

Would have been five games in four weeks if that had held at our ground after Brum, Bolton, Reading and then Watford on Saturday. That, plus the bad weather lately. Having said that it's a bit odd that a non league ground should have a pitch in a suitable condition, considering the Giants haven't even stepped on ours lately.

Town through on penalties today after a nil nil draw. Decent performance, Regan booty had a good game and billing looked ok second half. Allinson made a few good saves but didn't have to save any Charlton penalties. Charlton appear to have two Ollie Norwoods, as a wag in the crowd shouted, after they blazed two penos over the bar.
The pitch was dreadful and if I played for stalybridge I wouldn't be happy they let us play on it. not sure why it couldn't have been at canalside because that is in much better condition. Glad it want at the jss as we need to preserve that pitch as much as possible.

The rules of the competition state that it has to be played on a ground that attains certain criteria, try charging £4 without seats and toilet facilities at Canalside lol. You're right though, I wouldn't think Stalybridge fans would be happy seeing the state of that pitch after.

Missed the first few minutes. Is it still 0-0? Good to see our lads playing well, controlling the game pretty much and not forever arguing with the officials.

Still 0-0. A bit like watching the first team - all the ball but not created a single shot at goal.

Like buses! Two great shots in five seconds. Two good saves by their keeper. Still 0-0 ... Picture just disappeared.

There's a real Johnny Gobshite doing loads of shouting on the Barnsley bench.
