Frankiesleftpeg I think that their long term development must be encouraged, but it will not be via games as shown by Doc Halladay 32 above. They need to be on the bench to start, but given more than 3 minutes at the end of a game to prove themselves (my cticicsm of Powell). It has been suggested elswhere before, but, despite some distinctly dodgy games, The Gobernator himself has come through in recent games to prove that this approach works.

Is Jacob Hanson injured at the moment? Strange that he's not been included in the u18s today when they could wrap up the title if he's not. Or maybe he's with the first team...

Boyle has seemingly reappeared for today's U21 game, have I missed something? Wasn't getting game time at Kidderminster so no complaints.

Boyle was given the choice of staying or coming home, he chose the latter. Allegedly got a contract with us anyway.

Thanks for that jghtfc. Much appreciated. I know it's hard to tell from just highlights, but Town looked very dominant. A 5-1 scoreline would have not been surprising.

On the official site it said that we have finished second in the u21s. The table I was looking at shows us having completed our fixtures with Leeds 6 points behind us with two games left. Am I looking at duff info?

Am I looking at duff info? We drew with Coventry today ending on 48 points If Leeds win up they can only reach 45 points LINK

No problem. Looking at the table Leeds have won 10 and drawn 7 total 39 points?? This one is clearly wrong! Rest assured we play Crystal Palace away in the play offs semi final. Maybe....

Looks that way. Hopefully they can do ok against what I guess will be a tough Palace team.

Well done to Joe Wilkinson on his debut. Maybe some nerves there but he didn't look too out of place.
Hopefully see a couple more at Blackpool!

I thought he played fine, especially considering he was out of position.

I thought he played fine, especially considering he was out of position. He's played R/B for the U21s. Against Leeds last time out I believe.

I thought he played fine, especially considering he was out of position. Agree, was fairly solid, if unspectacular. Thought Joe has gone way overboard with comments about putting him out of his misery.

The under 18s lost the Professional Development League 2 semi-final 2–1 at home to Brentford this afternoon.
Does anyone know who Callum Charlton is? He wore no. 10 today and I don't recognise the name.

Have to say Brentford were by far the better team. They were physically stronger, more comfortable on the ball had crisper passing and their movement was of a higher quality than ours. The under 18s have done well this season and can hopefully with more coaching kick on again next season.

No, in the event of a draw would have been extra time and penalties.
