We're in yellow.
Just as a slight guide. This was the team from yesterday (with numbers), many of whom are on the field today:
Like the look of Chrichlow-Noble, but Düsseldorf are definitely bossing it, even if it is 0-0 at half-time.
Luke Mewitt (1) Romoney Crichlow-Noble (2) Jahiem Headley (3) Sam Peplow (4) Tim Akinola (6) <--> 26. Tom Bell (8) Will McCamley (7) <--> 40. Andrew Issiwole (11) Micah Obiero (9) Christopher Elliott (10) Taylor Annakin (12) <--> 42. Nassim Kherbouce (14) Mustapha Olagunju (15) Oran Thompson (17) <--> 37. Tom Bamford (18)

Another 0-3 thumping. Albeit, this was nothing like the side that got a 4-4 in Berlin a couple of weeks ago v Hertha. From that side, only Chrichlow-Noble and Obiero played today.

The town where the games are being played, Ennepetal, I know really well. Have been there dozens of times due to family living nearby in the adjacent town of Gevelsberg. Ennepetal has a great cave system that's good for exploring (Kluterthöhle). I read that the annual tournament for the youngsters has a great tradition in letting the locals see future superstars of the game e.g. Beckham and Torres having played there in their youth.

When you went to the Hertha game and got there 5 hours late I must admit I did read a little story in the local press the next day. It was all about a large character stumbling around in a confused state of mind looking for help. The locals thought maybe he had some kind of speech impediment as he was asking where the "Haddersfield Town" game was. Rumours of the guy having bolts in his neck couldn't be confirmed as he was wearing a at the time.

Thanks, Driffield - made me laugh at least!! :-)
I try not think about it too much, though if I do, I'm still a bit miffed that I didn't get to see some players that might be playing some part in next year's Championship team.
Trotzdem. Berlin - immer eine Reise wert!!

Update in Town's game v FC Midtjylland:
1-0 Town thru Bamford header.
Win would mean we wouldn't walk off with the group's wooden spoon.
Edit:
Ultra-slack last 10 minutes = 1-3 now.
Edit:
Final score: 1-5.

Had a bit of a mare and was hooked at half-time. Definitely will be going out on loan again and it'll be a big one for him as he hasn't really fully impressed yet. Needs a good start wherever he goes. Whilst Notts County clearly struggled I found it encouraging to see just how many of their fans were backing and praising Schofield's performances there.

Comments I read were mixed. Had some decent games but also quite a few decision-making errors. His previous spells in non-league haven't really been an overwhelming success. However, as a keeper, he still has a long time to develop. Be surprised if he is No. 1 or 2 next year so another year out makes sense for his development.

I saw Notts at Crawley second to last game of the season. Schofield should have done better for Crawley’s equaliser.....went under his left arm from a fairly central shot.

Bet the game against Rangers isn't mentioned on the Town official website 😄 To be fair, our players only met each other last/this week. The second half was better, once they'd learnt each others names 😂

Town's U17s have been training together for 8-10 days and never played a match together......Rangers U18s have been training together for 8-10 years and played well over 200 matches together. The result is hardly surprising.
They's young boys need our support and encouragement, not criticism

Wouldn't it be an idea to play slightly poorer teams when they've only been together 10 days. What's the benefit in getting smashed by a good academy side like Rangers? Fair enough playing them in 6 months time but right now I'd have thought we would be better off taking on league 1 or 2 youth sides

the coach's are looking to see what their reaction to the loss will be. What is their character like. Do they go into a shell or do they brush it off and go again.
It testing them Psychology. Which is part of the FA's 4 Corner model for developing the future player

U17s next game is at Emley on Friday, 7.30 kick off.
Great opportunity to not only see see some of the Town Youngsters but to also put some money in the coffers of a local non league team.......see you there :-)

Excellent news, I know he only came on for 15 mins last night but he looked like they'd cloned Hoggy but improved his ball control and passing

A good run our last night for the U17s against Emley's 1st team.
The young boys did well against a men's team, competing well until the second half penalty.

The U17's are playing against Rochdale's U18's this afternoon.
Should be another good test for them. Playing against a team that's a year older and also played together for a few years.
