Commentator twice referred to him as 'Martin' Sam Matterface is just an awful commentator. But otherwise he's a jammy bastard, he's Natalie Sawyers hubby Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards

Commentator twice referred to him as 'Martin' Sam Matterface is just an awful commentator. A talk sport smarm that steals a living from the game. Clarke Carlisle was terrible to boot.

Missed out on a very good player. Serves us right for offering peanuts. 13 league appearances no goals in a good Forest team. If he were a £1m player at Town, plenty would be on his back by now. One for the future for them.

We're all generals after the war. He made the thread when the lad was doing nothing. But yeah, the lad looks good. Was he another ALF/Lambert or just a rumour we were interested? Maybe Hoyle has learned the lesson with that and will go for Wells. Thank you someone saw my point. He did nothing all game. The second i pressed create post i heard his name he'd scored haha

I didn't see it, was he as bad as I imagine? Today he sounded extremely pleased with himself, think this reputation of being the smartest footballer around has gone massively to his head.

He started off ok on QT on questions that he was comfortable with, probably reaching the point of smugness you describe. The problem with some of the ensuing questions was that he could not really relate to the subject matter and tried to bluff or skirt around the question with the all too familiar flowery language.
I did warm to him slightly on a BBC3 documentary about depression. It irritates me more when he is pretending to be the know it all on the likes of the Europa League, a level he never played at. The same applies to ex-Town man David Phillips on Sky's Spanish football coverage who is frankly unbearable to listen to.

He would have had far more opportunities at Town. Quite probably, but some patience would have still been required with his goal ratio in a weaker team, which some on here are not willing to give.

Watching forrest west ham. Doesnt look worth 1.2 mill maybe a blessing in disguise not wasting money on him? Looks very light weight. Thoughts??? Any chance of you giving your opinion on a town player that you don't rate next time we play?

I had some sympathy with Allardyce in the short term with the Man City game coming up. However there's a bigger picture. It's part of his responsibility as a manager to get a half decent prem league squad together that should be capable of competing in both games. Apparently he's spent £40M this season. Not a king's ransome by PL standard but you'd expect a bit more strength in depth than what was on show at Forest. They could be in no competitions soon and relegated to Championship by May but I expect Sam will have gone by then.

Apparently he ok'd it with his bosses at West Ham, but thats not much consolation to the 3000 hammers fans who'll have got up early on a sunday and forked out the thick end of 100 quid to travel up to Nottingham and watch their reserves getting pummelled. They've supposed to have got a petition going to get their money back. Not just prem clubs either- If id have gone to Hull this season Id have been pissed off. They should let the fans know they're not interested in going through so everyone knows not to be interested either.

Most of what he says is in some made up language
