Think we will stay up on the fact the teams below us will not win enough games to overhaul us.......we will be lucky to pick up 1 more point

We'll be safe even if we lose our last 4 games.

Town will be safe even if they loose there last 4 matches. Millwall will be relegated as they have the hardest run in and will be lucky to reach 44 points ie Middlesboro a Doncaster h Q P R a Burnley h at the moment they are on 40 points

What would the reaction be if we somehow won all the remaining games and ended on the same points as last season? I think some people's heads might explode trying to decide if progress was made or not.

Good to hear him saying that. Shows belief. I'd be worried if he were only saying there's maybe a couple of draws we could get out of the last few games.

We'll be lucky to get 2 points IMO...
Although knowing a Town watch us win the next two. (Optimistic/deluded you decide!)

There are just too many requirements for us to get drawn into the relegation battle, I predict safety will be assured before the last game of the season.

Isn't there only one requirement? (i.e. we continue to be as sh8*te as we have been for too long?(with the notable exception of Reading away when we were good). If we get no more points (and that's not too hard a scenario to envisage) we will be very unlikely to be clear before the last day and very possibly could be relegated.

Boro are trying to put a good finish on what had looked like a shocking season. They will try and finish as high as poss. They are on a decent run... not on the beach like some of ours.

Would be amazed, baffled and furious if we went down. Disappointing end in truth but I have faith next season will be brighter, and with Robins still at the helm

I'm amazed how many people think we'll be safe even if we don't get any more points. It's not just in this thread, but all of them on this subject. I don't get why people think there's no chance of the 5 teams between 18th & 22nd getting above us, because they don't need to do anything that special to do so. Millwall need 7 points, Blackpool 5 and Doncaster 4, all from 4 games. Birmingham 3 or 4 from 5 games and Charlton 7 points from 6 games. I admit it's unlikely, but there is a definite possibility. It all went horribly wrong in 2001 & came very close to doing so last year. Anyway, hope you're all right!

Yes, and do you know why? Wigan made EIGHT changes to their team because of having the FAC semi on the horizon. Really unfair on the rest of the strugglers. But as Nutty Holloway said, it wasn't their problem; they could only beat what was put in front of them, which they clearly did.

Crazy how they've fallen away have Blackpool can't imagine how it'd be like on here if that had happened here.

I think it'll be Barnsley, Yeovil & Blackpool who go down, regardless of whether we get any more points. I think we'll be 4th bottom, above Blackpool on GD.
I'm expecting Charlton to beat Barnsley, but it's probably better to have a Barnsley win. We ideally need to finish above them both, plus Charlton have to play Blackpool on the last day - if Charlton are already safe by then I expect they'll take their foot off the gas meaning a pretty much guaranteed 3 points for Blackpool.

I think Charlton's final game in hand is played during the final week of the season...things might all be sorted by then...hopefully

Can't believe it's got to this stage, i think we'll stay up but the players need to have a good look at themselves during the summer.
Far too many players with no genuine pride in their profession

They won at Derby on March 8th. Not as recent as I thought but still a good win
