Anybody know how many tickets we've sold? And any tips for parking , pubs etc Assuming you drive in on the A3088 from the A303 you come to a roundabout just by the Westland helicopter base; turn left up Bunford Lane then first left again into Bluebell Road where there is a pub called the Airfield Tavern (might be a Premier inn). They allow football parking no problem. Across from the pub is a fish and chip restaurant called Palmers which is pretty good. The ground is about a 10 minute walk straight ahead up the hill past a supermarket and into a residential area. Alternatively, there's parking at the ground itself, not sure on costs. I used it once for an evening game and it wasn't bad. Sometimes there is also a beer tent at the ground - you might want to check with YT about this.

Lots of parking behind the away end, and Yeovil have a huge gazeebo/tent for both home and away fans. Good beer and fantastic food.
Get down early, get parked up, and get tucked in.

Train takes 6+ hours with 4-5 changes and both stations in Yeovil are miles away from Huish Park. I wouldn't recommend it.

Well, Yeovil cannot now mathematically catch us up. One down, two more to go. I hope the trip home from Yeovil will be very pleasant indeed!
Very important points for Town today; hopefully we'll kick on on Monday and get the job done.
Went to AFC Wimbledon v Newport County today. The first time I've seen Newport since the famous winner by David Cowling in '83 to get Town promoted! Not a bad game, 2-2 in the end. Mike Flynn (remember him?) scored easily from the penalty spot to put Newport 2 up.

Towns beer tent will be full whatever and most wont make it to the game especially as and loads of cheap quality home brewed ale on sale plus fresh quality food to fill you up. Two bus rides from station to ground which takes up to an hour . I live in Paignton Devon so only 3 hours away for me and worth going just to be with our wonderful fans. Normally this match is pay on the day and usually around 500 Town fans with numbers swelled from London and south fanbases.

If we get anything at Yeovil I'll be amazed. Their lads will be well up for it, and will get in our faces all game. Will be no different to Barnsley away, Doncaster away, Blackpool away, etc, etc. The points we have will have to do now, fortunately I think they'll be enough.

We have enough quality to beat them. It's the mental toughness I worry about. Be happy with a point but I think they will go for it, leave plenty of gaps which we will exploit. 3-1 to town.

The players have to think back to last season and remember how they played at Brizzle and Wolves. They can beat Yeovil, we are a better team, it's just about attitude and application with some of these lot.

Definitely not a game to go 'looking for a point'. They need wins, not draws. That means they have to commit players forward and that gives us chances to hit them with a sucker punch. We aren't good at hitting teams on the break but hopefully with likes of Holmes and Lolley on the bench we can get some pace on at some point in the game and really go at them. Wells no slouch either so play to his strengths, no aimless punts to his head from 50 yards away.
