It pains me to say it as I can't stand the overbearing weirdo, but it has to be The Rodge if he takes Liverpool to the title.
Honourable mention to Pulis though.

Rodgers, if they win the league - nobody would have given Liverpool a chance of winning the league before the season started, but if they do they've done it playing the best football in the league.
Pulis has done a great job but his achievement pales in comparison ro Rodgers IMO.

Anybody says someone other than Rodgers and they're wrong
Liverpool have not won the title for almost 25 years. They've only come close two or three times during those 25 years
For him to come in and win a title within 2 years when up against Man City and Chelsea throwing silly money around, plus United, is one of the biggest achievements the Premier League has seen. He has taken some seriously under performing players like Sterling, Henderson, Sturridge, Johnson etc and turned them in to great footballing side that are fantastic to watch. It's not like they've bored us all on the way to the title, they look like surpassing 100 goals
I don't really like the bloke but Rodgers has proved he is one of the best young managers in the World
As for Pulis, yes he has done very well but the news that has come out today doesn't surprise me

Pulis all day long. Took over when they had 4 points, they couldn't buy a win. They have one of the lowest wage and agent fee bills In the Prem, really class effort by Pulis and his staff.

I believe that Barclays put a panel together to vote on this. Wonder who will be on that panel and whether that is different to what the fans think.

As much as I hate the Bloke, it has to be Rodgers, even if they finish 2nd.
Rodgers Martinez Pulis
in that order

Good post. Very tough call between Pulis and Rodgers. If Liverpool see out the job and win the league, especially with the brand of football he has them playing, then for me he nudges it slightly.
I don`t know, but would be interesting to know the odds against Liverpool winning the league at the start of the season, and odds against Crystal Palace avoiding the drop when TP took over.
In any event, both real contenders for different reasons.

Pulis has done a terrific job but it's Rodgers for me. Liverpool are playing with swagger and flair with lots of young English talent and they were outsiders for the top 4 at the start of the season. It would be an incredible achievement for them to win the league - would Rodgers also be one of the youngest league winning managers too? There were still plenty doubting him at the start of the season and now he's tactically outwitting his rivals and reinvigorating his players.

1 place available to win the league 17 places available to stay up Precisely, you can't take owt away from what a good job TP has done, but I don't see how anyone can even begin to compare the two achievements, Rodgers, in the space of two years, has taken what was essentially a midtable side (albeit a huge club), and turned them into a side which is a gnats cock away from winning the title, making a mockery of a lot of clubs who have been well above them in previous years, in the process. Sides that come up from the championship and have a strong first season are ten-a-penny, and like I said, while TP has done a cracking job, it's nothing we haven't seen several times before. I hate Liverpool as much as the next guy, but it has to be Rodgers, no question.

I think it should be Brendan Rogers, and I think it will be Brendan Rogers, but I can't bear to vote for the prick so I'm going to say Tony Pulis.

Brendan Rogers. Met him on the street. Found him to be a nice fella.
Pulis has also done an amazing job.

Expressed my grumbles about turn-a-blind-eye-mediafest-cheats Liverpool on here before and also admiration for what Pulis has acheived but Rodgers has to be manager of the year for the quality of football he's got them playing.

Rodgers all the way, don't understand why people don't like him, very understated and modest, never given it the Bertie Big Bollocks at any point this season and has always played it down.

If Chelsea win the league and the Champions League then Mourinho for me. Is this the Chelsea with £70+ million worth of strikers that they don't even use Any muppet should have them around the top of the table, same with City. Plus their Champs League group was ridiculously easy, as was their second round tie. Sporned it against PSG when they actually made use of one of their forgotten forwards

If Chelsea win the league and the Champions League then Mourinho for me. He's got the most expensive squad in history at his disposal (yes more than City), winning the league and champions league still wouldn't be as big an achievement as what Rodgers & Pulis have done. Rodgers edges it for me for the style they've done it in, he hasn't played it safe like Jose often does he's just set his team out to play their game and see what happens.
