Don't know why we've ignored this, it sounds ace pre match and we can rightfully claim it as ours. We should ask Town to blast it out pre kick off imo This pre match would be my choice. [/quote] with 50,000 people singing it imo it wouldn't sound too great at the JSS. It would be worth a try though! If we could play smile a while 20 seconds before kick off, and turn off the music and the last verse was sung for the first 20 secs of the game that would sound great!

You are all Liidy fans, You come from a big skip, And you can play (what can they play), They play with toddlers....
Leedo Leedo Leedophiles etc etc.
Not one I expect to be sung but one I'm having alot of enjoyment with at work to the disgruntled Leeds fans.

Definitely has to be a lot more songs about the players. If clayton's still here he absolutely has to have one.

We will soon have a complete 'camp football classics' album. Keep up the hard work.

While we're knocking out these dubious tunes, how about this one.
Ohhh Joe Lolley, number one super guy. Oh Joe Lolley, quicker than the human eye.
He trashed his pad, cos he's a lad. Got a bollocking off the boss. But we don't care, cos he'll be there With a nice Joe Lolley cross.
Ohhh Joe Lolley, number one super guy. Oh Joe Lolley, quicker than the human eye.

Can't we just sing "Almondbury - WANKERS !!" ?
Rangers sing the Roy Orbison song Penny Arcade - but it was written by a bloke from Heckmondwike (who's still around, and has re-recorded it for the Rangers games) - I think it's more Town than Rangers to be honest.
Would anyone go with Ranger's style pre-match sing-a-longs - they sound awesome but are a bit stage managed.

A key part of the NSL will be to get into the ground early and get singing songs, hopefully building the atmosphere around the ground. Don't forget, no seat reservations, so if you want a good spot, central and near the back you will need to be in there early anyway.

By the way, one of Deanos favourite songs is runaway by Del Shannon. Might be worth giving that an outing at some point.

But would you want the PA system to be playing the songs - like they do at Celtic & Rangers ?

Always like this Celtic one Needs two stands singing alternate lines which obviously would be a stumbling block here This would get the noise around the ground...

Woke up this morning feeling fine, got huddersfield town on my mind, we play football the way the way that we should, something tells me I'm into something good. (Tune of I'm into something good, hermans hermits)
Allez allez ohh, allez allez ohh, were htfc, the blue army. (Not sure of tune)
This is our club, belongs to you and me, we follow ht, htfc, and we'll never go down, away or in our own ground, we'll never stand down, cause were huddersfield town (tune of dirty old town, pogues)
Also htfc song, blue army, we all follow the hudders, na na na hey hey hey huddersfield town, cowshed end will get crowd going.
Start of game should be smile a while.. Then a calypso of songs that have same rhythm. I am a hudders fan into na na na, into cowshed end into something else

He's at a new home now, how about a rendition of Smile A While to let the lad know who he now plays for He could have been shite, But he chose Blue & White, Walking in a Coady wonderland
