Stopped Hamilton getting pole. He caused a yellow flag, some say on purpose which is debatable but then he reversed towards the track which IMO was absolutely on purpose to keep the yellow flags out!
Stopped everyone improving their position, including Hamilton who was on a faster lap and would have got pole!

He was very twitchy going in to that corner. I suspect he knew what he was doing
Will be an interesting start to the race tomorrow. Hamilton won't be hanging around in to that first corner, he seemed quite pissed off

One thing a GP won't be is interesting. There are lots of little interesting battles going on throughout the field in each race. Granted first place on the podium is currently just between two drivers but even they have had some epic scraps so far this season

I wouldn't have opened the thread but genuinely had no idea who the chap was and thought he may be a potential signing. Cricket's my second sport so am sure many would think similar about that. As you were.

Haha you're right mate, you find cars driving at 200mph dull, yet crickets ace!!
We are all different!

No guarantee Hamilton would've got pole.
Also he won't have reversed to keep the yellow flags out. Given the yellow flags were already out, by reversing and leaving the area, he'll have actually made the yellow flags go back in, whereas had he stayed where he was, the yellows would've stayed out even longer.
Anyway, in my view he didn't do anything deliberately to stop anyone improving.
As far as people saying F1 is boring, that's little more than what I'd call a fashionable/cool thing to say because people find it an easy target so just stereotype, and it's usually said by people who don't fully understand the sport or who don't watch it. Is F1 boring sometimes? Yeah. Always? No. But there's always something going on in the race to keep your interest if you want to find something in it to keep your interest.

driving a car at 200mph across a cricket pitch during a game might be exciting?

it appears to be so..i got told of for putting some jollity into it..
driving round and round at any speed is relatively dull. as with most motor sports I think most go to watch just in case there is a right good crash..

Put it on,watch to see if theres a pile up at the first corner, turn over, turn back 2 hours later to see the result.

I wish they'd bring back refuelling, adds more to the sport. Got to say my interest has dropped over the past few years. I'll still watch it if it's on but it's just got a lot more predictable IMO after going through an exciting period after the end of Schumacher's dominance.

What I find strange is that people are moaning after only 6 races that it's boring and Mercedes are too dominant.
Seemed ok when Vettel had the better car though?
I love F1, never miss it. Would have preferred to watch it live this weekend though, awesome venue!

I think that was more about people hating him after what he did to weber, another example of an unsporting sausage eater!
