So when is this being announced? Unfortunately we have to wait for the club to give us the go ahead, they are wanting to delay the announcement unfortunately.

RE my earlier post ...... PR is not a Town strong point .... new signing ... a business partner. Not right good all this teasing etc .. start as you mean to go on , if you have something to announce, then announce it , dont tease and build it up. You would be better off saying nowt then when the inept PR people at the club give you the go ahead announce whatever it is

Guys just to clarify and to expand on Ben's point, there's no change of circumstances regarding the actual information, simply that the club have now decided they would like to announce it before/alongside us.
This was decided AFTER our announcement that there would be some news, so as much as we could perhaps have held off, we weren't to know that there would be a delay.
As far as I'm aware things will get rolling again come Monday so there won't be much of a wait. We're working very closely with the club and fully respect their wishes, so that's why we're keeping it quiet.
We're certainly not trying to tease for the sake of teasing. The build up announcement on Tuesday was simply to raise a bit of excitement and interest, and to spark discussion. Certainly can't harm.

While I am a supporter of the concept of NSL , it all seems to be very stage managed , it needs to be more organic, and not be the clubs puppets

It'll be organic once the season starts but if everybody sits back and waits for something to happen, well it won't.

For clarity, it's not managed by the club, it will be and is self managed by everybody that goes in there.

Fair enough mate, nobody is telling anybody they have to turn up at any time. But we need some level of organisation to make it work, and part of that is to get to the ground early so we can get some singing going pre-game.
People are free to join in with that if they wish, if they don't want to then no problem.

Why do they need to delay it?
It will be a massive anti climax now when they do give permission to announce it

Maybe but let's not lose sleep over it. I'm sure the significance will still be there.

Well if it's not south stand, a roof or safe standing then I'm not sure what much else would be classed as tremendous news? Especially when the club won't let you announce it?

I'm expecting to see something akin to NSL being sponsored by Northern Commercials and a truck being parked outside the pictures every home game that kids can sit in.

Unless it's a surprise signing, they don't just throw stuff out on a daily basis as and when they think about it. It's all scheduled. We originally got the impression from the club that wed be able to announce it, but we possibly misunderstood and the club did actually want to post out the article first. Due to Thursday and Friday already having articles scheduled in (the train nonsense and the away kit), there wasn't really a big slot to put the information out. They therefore said they'd wait till early this week.

People just don't like it when clubs/groups say " we've got some great news coming shortly" then don't deliver !!

I've seen no positive contribution from you whatsoever regarding the NSL initiative which is no problem....But why the negative stuff....what's your problem?

I do not have a problem with NSL , as for being positive , I purchased my season ticket in the NS , I cant see anything being more positive than that .
Also I am not saying you have stage managed anything ,I was trying to say that the NSL needs to be more organic
if you want to discuss call me , again I have no problem with the concept
