Yes, that is exactly what this is like. Quick sub poll: Would you rather your college attending son come home saying he'd watched a fight and was going to get prosecuted, or be told he is a pathological liar who goes around creating a false persona and telling bizarre lies and stories to everyone, even after it's become clear no one on earth believes a word he says? How did he watch a fight? he pulled someone to the ground who as a result was kicked in the head by his mate.... The other 13 or so in the group, obviously watched the fight or they would have been up on charges as well. Cant understand the culture of sticking up for criminals. If he was innocent he would have been found innocent. On a subnote, As NSL are obviously attracting these kind of like minded (idiots) people by the obvious thoughts of those posting on here, as well as those just wanting to have a good time and support the club, I wonder how long it will take for one of these idiots to be pictured wearing one of the t-shirts or scarfs, kicking someones head in.... That will bring a quick end to the home end. Surely football supporters want to go to a game, enjoy the banter and rivalry , the atmosphere of match day and then get home safely. Im firmly behind the justice system and support them in bringing mindless violence to an end at a family orientated sporting event. Ive been to hundreds of sporting events, and never once become embroiled in any trouble, yet I know of people who say it follows them around... My answer to them, is NO. YOU follow it around. You almost sound more sensible and credible when you're posting as you alter-ego Pathological Liar Larry. I'd stick to him.

As much as I was shocked and felt dirty I agreed with SuperLopez's anti violent stance. Fortunately, his NSL waffle without any grounding has restored natural order.

Burberry? When was the last time you saw someone wearing Burberry at the football? You know nothing about the culture, some of the people you refer to are loyal Town fans who've watched club for years home & away so I think yes they will miss their support. Hmmm, Im pretty sure that Huddersfield Town FC dont want them, or why would they then issue life bans to the same clowns.... I think your deluded. You are in a massive minority of the matchday crowd, that just go to watch football and hopefully enjoy the game. If not we would have 12000 idiots causing havoc, when actually I bet the number of people involved in any hooliganism is a relativly small % of the matchday crowd, which the much larger % could well do without. there just you lads defending there Town, it goes back hundreds of years,, natural instinct when people invade your Town gobbing off and acting agressive they usually get a slap and go on there way,it wasnt even in or near the ground, so why would HTFC not want them,

Ok, I agree the NSL was a bit of waffle, but the organisers, should be mindful that not all supporters are like minded, and this topic proves that. Where a number of obviously committed supportes, who I share banter with and wind them up, I cant agree with them supporting people getting their heads kicked in at a football match, its not banter and its not funny.. simple.

It was not a bit of waffle it was highly offensive to a group of people who are trying to improve the experience of watching Town. I'm not going in the NSL but I do appreciate the significant efforts of volunteers.

It was a point made that a few mindless idiots that posters are openly supporting on this topic, could ruin the hard work put in by the volunteers, and that we shouldn't be sympathising with any mindless idiots who think violence at football matches is acceptable. But condemning their actions and making it so they aren't welcome. It will only take one of these clowns wearing a t-shirt to do something else stupid be it at the ground or outside to reverse the significant progress that the volunteers have made. If you are arguing that we should support hooliganism at Huddersfield town, then I add you to that group of mindless idiots.

And in true Daily Mail fashion you're now trying to make me look like I'm supporting hooligans because I don't agree with your idiotic, offensive statement.

Who's supporting football violence in this thread?
Most of the debate was about the severity of the young lads punishment in relation to his crime.

And who has ever said anything about violence in the NSL apart from "it'll be a trouble free friendly atmosphere and we will help police it ourselves"
I'd say stick to transfer rumours but you're a bit gash at them to be honest

Spouting bollockx as usual, just a different brand of bollocks from the usual Mystic Smeg approach of prediciting town may or may not ever sign anyone and then claiming you were right regardless of the outcome. I've had more insightful and intelligent shits this week.....

In the context of the whole quote it clearly meant that NSL will attract people like those convicted of assaulting a Barnsley supporter and that we should be condemning violence rather than sympathising and condoning it like it seems most of those who have taken issue with me seemed to do. You should be ashamed of yourselves for sticking up for someone, convicted by a British court of been involved and associated with hooliganism. As far as I am concerned they are a waste of a pulse.

I've been on quite a few away trips with some of the people involved in the NSL and despite copious amounts of alcohol I have not seen one argument nevermind any violence; they're only interest is having a good time while supporting the team they love.

The original post wasn't aimed at you and to be honest I only read any of your dribble when you quote me so I haven't read your other posts. However if up to now Graeme you haven't condemned the violence given opportunity then you too are a brainless idiot. If you have I apologise but still won't be reading your dribble

That's not to say the area which will hopefully have the best atmosphere in the ground won't attract these types and therefor those involved and associated should support the hard line. I remember the types the cowshed appealed to and it was both the supporters and the idiots. It only takes one idiot who are in the minority to spoil It for the majority. So as a group we should be saying no idiots. Ban them for life. Instead someone who replied to me said some of those with banning orders are true town supporters..... no they aren't. .. They are walkers.

To me violence is violence and i agree with many of the comments on here who believe that there seem to be rules for one and rules for another . What was the difference between what Hammill did to those 2 innocent paramedics in Liverpool to what the Batley 3 did to the stewards at the play offs at Old Trafford ?? as both incidents were reported as violent and thugish that caused injury to innocent victims and both incidents badly tarnished the clubs image .So called justice gave the Batley 3 a prison sentence followed by a life ban by the club when Hammill whos incident in my opinion was far more serious was given a suspended sentence by the courts then offered a new contract by a so called family club and was arguably a case of a club showing double standards for a player who should be a roll model for Towns young supporters . i very much doubt that Hammill would pass a C R B check to represent the club in schools and i do realise that Past history has alot to do with a sentence but what ive seen happen on the terraces in my 52 years is nowhere as bad as to the violent attacks what ive witnessed on innocent victims when the pubs empty late on a friday/saturday night .
