Just a poll to see what people expect for the upcoming season.

Mid table, just a slight improvement on last year will do just fine.

Shouldn't there be a brown bar, for "In the Shit"?

Shouldn't there be a brown bar, for "In the Shit"? No we've set the bar higher than Leeds

wherever it is it will be a gradual improvement. the improvement being based on our past and not our and all the other championship club's present.
having watched town at the bottom end of the bottom division its all an improvement but inside toilets are an improvement and anti biotics were a step forward..

You've got to fancy Blackpool and Rotherham to take up two of the relegation places. The other will be between ourselves and 6 or 7 other teams
Think we'll just about survive again. Suppose it depends which Premier League players we get on loan

Not sure why everyone is tipping Rotherham and Brentford for relegation. Rotherham, in particular, have added some good Championship experinece to their squad and Brentford have added one or two interesting signings too. If their is a question over Brentford it's over their manager, I've never even heard of this guy before.

Whereas Brentford seem to have signed potential up and coming stars, Rotherham's signings look average at best. Doesn't mean they won't make an effective team, but I'd take our players individually over their's any day of the week.

Top 8 and higher for me. I'm thinking we could surprise a few teams and town supporters this season and genuinely push on to unknown quarters. Onwards and upwards

Of course, the squad and management should be going in to the season with the mentality that they can win the league.
My prediction is....you already know.

We showed at the start of last season we could be up there. The problem has been doing it consistently. We will either do really well or really badly. Can't see us been middle of the road

12th.
We need experience to come in to augment what we already have, and we need another striker for when Vaughan is inevitably injured, but we have a good side in waiting. Young players will have grown from the experience of the last couple of years, and we've got another good group coming through to bolster the squad.
We also have one or two players with points to prove. Norwood in particular has never really shown how good he is on a consistent basis. If the likes of him start to fulfil their potential week in, week out we'll have a good campaign. But we do need to bring in two experienced players at least.

It seems they have made many shrewd signings and i fancy them to do OK. Rotherham will surprise a few and maybe Derby on the opening Saturday.

Worst bet last season? Backing Town to be in the top half......oh, and Steve Gerrard for Sports personality...from 4/5 to 250/1!!!
