Comfortably worst idea for a programme we've had in my time supporting since the 80s.
Very very poor. I buy about one a year on average and that ain't going to change my mind!

If I wanted a paper with town news in, I would buy the examiner and save money. We must be skint as a club, did we go into a primary school and ask the kids there to come up with an idea.

Didn't this actually come from talking to fans though?

I was hoping the programme/paper was going to be the lowpoint of the day, I was wrong!
It was like Town's performance second rate, cheap, nasty and terrible value for money...
If last year's glossy magazine type production was worth £3 then today's paper should be at most 50p

Haven't bought a programme for years but it looked very poor for a couple of quid.

Gonna be great in Winter too, especially for those in the FML when it's pissing it down. Stupid idea, especially at £2!

Hoyle made his millions from selling cheap cards/tack so we shouldn't be surprised at this, particularly as most of the stuff sold in the club shop is cheap rubbish.

I've never missed buying a programme and have boxes of them. Fell out with the wife when we moved, she thought they'd be going. Looks like I'll only be adding to them after away games . SHOCKING IDEA, fans collect programmes not bloody newspapers. Wife's pissing herself.

this is what the fans wanted apparently. awful in my opinion. guess the price drop is what people said they wanted. goes to show you can "listen to what people want" too much.

Was there a poll done by the club or have they just made up a load of rubbish that fans supposedly wanted this?

According to Sean Jarvis they`ve listened to what the fans wanted, and this is it.

Criticising St Dean of Canalside? there will be tears!! The traditional match day programme is as dead as the dodo as a concept. In the 1920's it might have been THE way to get info on the club, players etc, but then we went to games on trams, sitting beside the players, who were carrying their boots and smoking Woodbines! Milk it while you can Town, but you need to come up with other ways to engage with fans and drive a revenue stream, apart from good ol' match day programmes.

I haven't bought a programme for years because most of what's in it you can read on t'internet but without all the ads. If they want to sell a newspaper then ten bob (50p for the young uns) would be nearer the mark.

This is such a cringey idea, it's embarrassing - if this was done due to fans then I'd love to meet these fans and ask why... If I ever buy a programme I like to keep them to read a few years later (bit sad but can be interesting) I'm not keeping a stack of old newspapers though, that's literally hoarding...

Clever marketing the Championship's most expensive newspaper as the Championship's cheapest programme

I would love to see how many fans have told Sean Jarvis what they wanted in terms of the programme to be a cheap newspaper. I dont recall being asked for my opinion having been a season ticket holder for 20 years until this year, in fact I dont recall getting any kind of communication to tell us that they wanted suggestions for a new programme?

Fans wanted an affordable programme without the dross that has been in there for last couple of seasons. This is not the answer. Think again or lose more revenue.

I'll stick up for the programme in terms of content - if they used a "Sunday supplement" style paper a presentation it would be better. It looks a bit like a free newspaper in it's current style.
