New name for the hat - Alan Curbishly? Fits a lot of DH's criteria. Not new really, been mentioned many times. Been out of the game for too long, and unlikely that he will ever manage a club again anyway, let alone one outside of London.

Technical director at Fulham earlier this year. Not a great recommendation but still in the game. Just as likely to come north as any other Southern based candidate - Powell , houton etc. Not advocating - just saying he is available and fits a lot of DH's criteria.

clearly from some of the posts above, some datm posters were on the frigging interview panel? ?? or maybe they just handle the money side of the deal? or more likely , they Bullshit for England.? Lennon wants more money? explain how you know this?? or stop talking shite.. BTW, if you run a business , be it a football club or whatever and you have teenage children on twatter/faecesbook, you would know its human nature for teenagers to be untrustworthy with your business 'secrets', so you wouldn't tell them any.. Presume that's aimed at me. Well like I said previously I don't give a flying fuck if anyone believes it or not. Just passing on info from someone. Are they in the know? Maybe? maybe not but as they are associated with the club they probably know more than you or me. PS No I wasn't on the panel, handle money sides of deals for town or Bullshit .

disagree puzzled as to why he has gone there thoughPerhaps because there's a lot of talent, and a bottomless pit of cash in spite of FFP?

Will be very interesting to see what Lennon can do at a club with a £163.8 million net debt.

Lennon will have them up the table in no time, shame he didn't come to Town. Why? Because he won the league with Celtic. Give me Powell over him any day.

You might be right, but I'm at a loss to where you get your evidence from that he's better. Anyone could do what Lennon did atCeltic so he's proved nothing to anyone who watches from a far. Powell won the championship in a competitive league where theirs more than one team who can win it and are not odds on before the seasons even started.

There seems to be some kind of misconception that if your manager at Celtic or Rangers all you have to do is turn up and let the players go out and it all takes care of itself. The players still need to be coached, motivated and managed on tactics. If it's so easy at Celtic why is that guy Daeli struggling so badly in 6th place having just lost at home to Hamilton?

Mowbray also failed miserably. They lost 4-0 to St Mirren at one point...
