Instant respect from players, good publicity. Was assistant manager to Van Gaal at the World Cup, could be a brilliant appointment if true

Would be popular with the fans too! Bring a lot of people through the turnstiles. Would love this to happen

It'd be a complete shock and not something anyone on the planet would really expect.

Another out of left field, but is certainly interesting. Doesn't seem to have managed anyone outright before though. He could probably still do a job up front too given our strikers, ha.

I'd be happy if he came in. Also with his friendship and closeness to Van Gaal we might get a couple of promising Man Utd players on loan which would be good for us.

Sounds like it's bullshit. Nixon saying his name shouldn't be on the article.

Previous assistant to the current Man Utd manager... yes please!! His contacts must be awesome and he must be able to attract one or two quality players to us. Ideally though he would be a good coach as well as manager becauee he wont be given millions to spend.

Not tried and trusted or doesn't it matter because he was a well-known world class player....everyone was hanging onto the tried and trusted requirement to console themselves it couldn't be Pressley

It's a gamble he could be a Roberto Martinez or equally a Paulo Sousa. Rather gamble on him than these drab donkeys like McDermott Doyle and Presley etc. the players would really respect this guy!

Kluivert or warnock from that article I would be reasonably happy with. Mowbray odds suspended on skybet, was 25/1 a minute ago.

He got sacked by Middlesbrough after winning only 2 games out of 12 . You now can't put money on him on paddy power .
