Whoever takes the job will have a massive task on their hands if they have to work with the current squad. Cannot think of many (if any) Lids players I would swop for a Town player.

Putting aside that it's happening to Leeds, how can idiots like Cellino ever take over football clubs? The guy is seriously deranged.

Doesn't he still have to go back to court to hear the result of his appeal . Which if he loses it surely means he doesn't pass the leagues fit and proper persons test .

And for those that complain it took more than 17 days to get a manager, now watch what happens. Who in their right mind would take it Me.

Its irrelevant as far as I'm aware. You pass the test at the time you apply for ownership, you don't have to maintain standards afterwards. Ie....if the final judgement is that he is guilty, I dont think it matters...which is why that Brummie fella is in jail for money laundering, but is fine to own them as he passed the test at the time.

No, I dont think thats true. He appealled, and he won his appeal. www.football-league.co.uk/staticFiles/17/c1/0,,10794~180503,00.pdf Note, he isnt having a "retrial" either. The delay is whilst the appeal is considered for his previous tax trial (which under italian law, he can be considered to have acted dishonestly until final judgement is passed...unlike the UK, where any tax fraud is determined to be a dishonest act, in Italy there has to be intent to defraud, so if he can show it was an error of judgement, he wouldnt be considered dishonest). Maybe youre getting confused with his other tax trial. Due to start on 2nd October and totally unrelated to the other one (although being heard by the same judge)? His final guilt or innocence will also, i believe, be irrelevant to his continued owmership of Leeds Utd. Would welcom Steve Clarke as manager of Town, so reckon that would be a positive appointment step up for Leeds from Hockaday. Never heard of the italian dude!

Anyway let him finish the job of selling all their players and running the club into the ground before it's inevitable demise.
