Creates competition at left back? Must say I hope this dosen't hinder us signing a centre back

Pointless signing. Extremely average left back. He is no better than Dixon so why bring in a player that will stunt the development of one of our own? I've seen Robinson 9 times in games I've attended and I can assure u he is 100 times the player Dixon is.

Is he potentially capable of improvement that would make him better than Dixon? Yes and no, on the latter point he is already in a different league to Dixon

How anyone can criticise the club for signing an ex liverpool u21 England international is beyond me. Shows how bloody daft some town fans are.
We should have signed Stuart hicks instead!

Pleased to be honest, it was only yesterday I posted if the money was available Dixon was one of the players I'd look to replace. If the money was available I'd be looking to get a world class central defender and striker in.....

I've seen him look good for England under 21s playing alongside excellent players against a bunch of no marks. But I've also seen him look terrible in struggling championship sides He loves a tackle which will endear him to the town fans. Has a tendency to just pass sideways or backwards all the time

Would have preferred Garbutt. Same, He declined our offer though. Fancies his chances in Europa league and cups though. I've seen Jack when I've been to watch Luke n they've switched at half time, maybe a little biased, but technically I'd prefer Luke.

Very Luke Shaw esque. Seems a strange signing nonetheless. I was expecting us to go for a utility LB/CB such as Blackett.
