As promised, here's my list of players Town have signed since Dean Hoyle took over. I've not included the likes of Tronstad and Coogans and the young Irish lads that are with the academy. I make it 68 players signed, 22 of which have been loans of different lengths, and four players (Peltier, Theo Robinson and Cadamarteri, plus Morrison on loan) have been signed twice. My word, there are some top players in that list. Arismendi, Jordan (stephen, not Rhodes), Croft, Trotman...are not some of them. Was Nick Colgan signed during Hoyle's tenure? Oops, you're right! I never saw Colgan play for Town, so that's my excuse for why I missed him out! So 69 it is. Same as our house number and my favourite number anyway!

Thank you. Wow what a list. That's 70 players in six years and testimony to the financial support that Dean has put in. The trouble is that some fans now expect us to be constantly buying players and I'm of the strong view that we need to better manage what we already have.

I make it 41 Les Clrrk signings. Eight of which were good signings, in my opinion. That is one awful record.

Not completely sure that's true, both signed by Lee Clark, who was definitely brought in by dean Hoyle he may not have completed the takeover by then but he was certainly the majority shareholder

Not completely sure that's true, both signed by Lee Clark, who was definitely brought in by dean Hoyle he may not have completed the takeover by then but he was certainly the majority shareholder My list was in response to a question from Shortbread Pete asking how many players Town had signed since Dean Hoyle took over at Town. I answered the question. Dean Hoyle took over at Town in June 2009. I saw Pilkington make his debut at Yeovil in January 2009 and Kelly came in a few weeks later. They were both signed by Clark, sure, and by then Dean Hoyle was on the Board, but he was not in charge. Did you pass your exams, or did you not answer the question?

I bow to your better knowledge Epsom, you've researched it, i haven't. Does that mean that Ainsworth also didn't sign whilst Hoyle was in charge? I seem to recall that a poster on here has them both holding aloft scarves as their avatar.

I seem to recall that a poster on here has them both holding aloft scarves as their avatar. I haven't researched anything really. It's just that I've always kept a record of the games that I personally attended. Started with a school jotter in 64-65 and continued ever since, now in hard-back books and in Excel...and you can do a lot with Excel! Sad, I know, but I don't care, it's my unique record. I've told my wife to pop the books into my coffin when I go........I'll need something to read! As for Ainsworth, he came on as a sub at Yeovil for his debut, the same game as Pilks made his debut. A very, very wet and windy night!
