Some people need to get more realistic and stop moaning about every decision made at the club......it's not perfect by any stretch but the club have made massive strides on and off the pitch over the last few years.....remember where we were and stop effing moaning!!!

We were playing "I Spy" in the car on Monday to kill the boredom of the M1 roadworks. Me: "I spy with my little eye, something beginning with F"
The 4 year old lad: "Effing and jeffing?"

I'm not moaning about any decisions, more about the fact that we seem incapable of actually making one in a reasonable amount of time. Yes I know plenty think it's absolutely fine to take their time, (how much time though?) to get the right man in the end?? Like previous appointments I assume. Like others though I'm getting a little bit bored with all the fannying around.

Some people just love being negative. Its what they live for and DATM is their playground. Its like a magnet for quivering bottom lips on here at times.
If we won this division then certain posters only comments would be about how we'll get hammered every week next season and about the expensive admission prices they'll have to pay.

People are just passing their opinion. Are we not supposed to post anything unless its positive?
I posted a few times about how i thought the Clayton and Norwood deals were excellent business and that Butterfield is a excellent replacement
Make a couple of comments about Robinson not being right cracky and the usual suspects have a breakdown about it

I believe that some fans expectations are unrealistic but also some seem to derive some delight in being a whinger, very Victor Meldrew. Those that seem to continually moan seem have nothing positive or constructive to say or offer. Equally Social Media and the 24 hour news cycle now means people spend so much time trawling for news in their teams

Some people on here do nothing but moan. The same people generally disappear after a win & have little to complain about. DATM is full of potential managers & chairmen who would lead us the the premier league, no problem!

We all saw Arfield 'a fair bit' and yet were surprised how he contributed for Burnley last season. Jutkiewitz and Scott McDonald would hardly have had glowing references from us but went on to have successful times at other clubs who rightly would have thought we (as an early loan club) had the wrong opinion of him. Hopefully we are a good fit for him and he can showcase his talents while on loan here despite previous performances at former clubs.

Don't disagree. Football is littered with players who were brilliant at one club and poor at another. All I've done is pass comment on what I've seen
Hope he makes me look stupid and has a blinding season for us

Think it's fair enough to be concerned with the lack of news on appointing a permanent manager and on strengthening the positions we need to. I don't think many posts have been OTT.
Perhaps recent results have helped relax the situation for some but a defeat tomorrow will no doubt unnerve even the most balanced of posters on here. Been stuck on 4 points from 5 games isn't going to improve the optimism of anyone going into a two week break.
Let's hope we pick up at least a point vs Watford

Surely half a dozen games at most, and unless sky or whoever were just following him then surely you cant form a balanced opinion, also live, how many times really? He was on loan at Blackpool and wolves so on that basis you will have seen him live a max of four times, that's if he was at wolves before they were relegated otherwise its two live. ..unless you follow England u21s avidly. .even watching him live did you follow him and not the game for the whole 90mins, was this last season or two or three before? Will have improved even if he was not too cracking before? Sorry mate cant agree with you on this, although Harry has had some shit signings I will trust him over you, he will have scouted him and watched him particular and not on tv either.i reckon you just look at other boards then take a view from them. .Blackpool were shit last season, kid may of struggled in a defence that conceded loads put him with better quality and he will do better, loads on our board have slagged plenty of our players when it has been unwarranted, so take what Blackpool fans say with a pinch of salt, go on Blackburn s board and you find some that dont rate rhodes.

Let's hope we pick up at least a point vs Watford I'd like to think I'm a balanced poster and fan and as such I don't think getting a point or better at Watford would be any tipping point of being unnerved at our situation. We have a young and talented squad with Gerrard returning from injury we should have a full squad to select from after the break we may actually see the promise of the Vaughan/Wells upfront partnership begin in earnest. Our midfield is covered Coady has been a revelation and I am more than encouraged that his presence and the experience of Butterfield at such a young age we will be better than years past with Clayton and Norwood. The central defence should have time to gel and I expect better results when Gerrard is fit. But the loan market will be open by the time we play our first fixture back after the International break, To be truthful I only see reasons to be cheerful. I would like a CB on loan if the Gerrard/Wallace/Peltier/Lynch/Smith centre back options fail to find a solid pairing. Similarly if/when Vaughan gets an injury then I would like a loan replacement brought in. Stead/Bunn/Paterson can sub in while Wells and Vaughan are fit and firing. Maybe i'm a happy clapper but I only see reason for optimism

It always amuses me how theres always someone who'll claim to know in intimate detail about a signing, no matter how short and obscure their career has been up to that point. They must sit watching every game on tv, from all levels home and abroad with a notepad on their knee, making a detailed analysis of every player on the pitch.
