Heard a rumour that a player (unspecified) has been linked with a club (unspecified).
Keep your eyes peeled.

Deadline day, AKA Monday for Huddersfield Town. Don't build yourself up to be disappointed, there is no value to be had in buying players today.

I'm off for a trial down canalside earlier, I reckon I could do a job at CB in the Razor Ruddock type mould, we're the same build after all............

Can only see a couple of outgoings (Scanz, Ward, hopefully Stead). Maybe a loan in but that's it.

We've had all summer to bring in a centre back, Town can't now trot out the no value to be had line We need a centre half and we'll have to pay the going rate if we want to stay up

Rather than panicking and paying 3-4x the value, plus heavily inflated wages, for a 32 year old journeyman that is no better than our current options.

Reports in Spain that Falcao has signed for United for €65m. Bizarre signing unless he can do a job at CB.

If ward and Scannell go, along with Clayton and Norwood, that is a big part of last season's first team squad gone.
More importantly it will show that any players not willing to sign new deals will be sold if they only have a year left on their contract.
I agree with this as we can't afford to let players of value run their contracts down.

These are only rumoured on the newsnetwork, im too busy with premier league deals to look into them and decide if they are reliable or not..... BUT
Outgoings.
Wells to Hull, Scannell to Milwall, Ward to Wolves, Stead to Oldham, Hammill to Bolton
Incomings,
Mike van Duinen, Micheal keane (competition is high for him), Wilfried Kanon and Bradley Wright Phillips.

Phew. I was a bit concerned that Wells was off. Not now . Dean Hoyle knows one good season and Wells' value will be considerably more than what Hull or any other club might be prepared to pay now. Not a chance Hull.. They are signing a foreign striker for £10m.

We will probably sign another central midfielder today, we must use Man Utds transfer policy.

Wells to Reading is probably rubbish; we rejected a 3 million pound bid from them. Tom Lawrence, 20 year old striker, might be coming in from Man U on loan. Doubt we're in for Chris Wood really, but rumours are saying we're concerned about his wages after agreeing a fee. Wolves want Ward for 1 mil, but since I seem to be the only one on DATM who wants to keep him, that could be true. Scannell wants to stay, but Millwall have agreed a fee for him, so not really sure how that'll pan out.

Have slightly heard about Stead to Oldham or Bury. Hammill to Bolton has gone quiet, but as he's not been playing regularly and it's deadline day, it could happen. Van Duinen to Town possibly, but very unlikely, as it stands. Maguire on loan would be good, but probably will not happen either. Lloyd Jones from Liverpool looks more likely.
