just curious, would you sell or keep?
Personally I think we need to keep players like Ward if given game time will no doubt score double figures and a shit ton of assists yet he seems to be the most hated player in the team, he's 23 so still plenty of time for improvement, should get him on a long term contract imo.
if you would sell him explain why

100% keep. This man provided our one piece of quality in the posh play off final. This man provided our one piece of quality in the 120 minutes against the blades. This man is the second fastest sprinter at the club. This man can score a hat-trick in 45 minutes. This man has a hammer of a shot on him as L***s scum found out last season. Etc etc etc

Sell. No obvious position for him in our current formation. He's a winger, we play 4-3-3, so there is an obvious position for him. Keep.

If Vaughan is fit I'd expect him to be up top with Wells, possibly 3 in midfield. Then either one behind front two, playing narrow/diamond or wing backs. Neither of which really suit Ward, in my opinion.

Sell. Wastes so many good crossing opportunity' you can't call him a winger and can't score enough to be called a striker.

Sell. Wastes so many good crossing opportunity' you can't call him a winger and can't score enough to be called a striker. Yet still is constantly top few in the assists charts every season and was involved in 33% of our goals last season. Keep, much better than Scannell. Stats don't lie.

Keep. At the end of last season, he found his form and scored some really crucial goals. He's still young remember, reckon the next few seasons will be key and if he continues this and keeps his fitness up, he could be a real threat to other teams in this division.

Has anyone bothered to consider why his stats are better than scannells? Ward was consistently picked ahead of Scannell even when he was dog shit. If Scannell had had the run Ward did, we would be crowing about keeping him. Get shot of Ward whilst we can get a fee.

Scannell 76 apps - 3 goals 2 assists Not good enough.

Especially assist stats. (i put 20 crosses in for Keiran Parker i get 1 assist, i put 20 in for Jordan Rhodes i get 10 assists, doesnt mean my crosses were any better or worse!) People need to use their eyes. If doing so i cant think they would think anything other than Ward is down the pecking order at town. Lots of potential but will we ever see it? I had to laugh yesterday when Sky sports were peddling to Wenger and Pearson that Arsenal bossed it on chances (They had 24 allegedly) Both managers were a little non plussed. Even Wenger seemed to concede they didnt create much danger. I agreed with Pearson, that Leicester looked far more like scoring and created the most gilt edged chances.

Are you seriously saying that Scannell who has two assists in two and a bit seasons compared to Ward who has 8-10 times that in assists in the same time is stats lying?! The fact is despite Danny Ward's flaws he has easily outperformed Scannell who simply has no end product.

Judge each man on his merits...

If we a chance to sell Ward & Scannell then we at least sell one of them if not both. Neither will of them will be a significant loss.
