Fine signing this one, Championship quality centre back, more than pleased with this. Hopefully we stop shipping goals now at such an alarming rate. The only question mark is over his age, but I'm sure it'll prove to be good business.

Was hoping he would stay for one more season but maybe it's best for him to move on. I thought he wouldn't be the same after his injury but his 2 games showed he still got it and if he stays fit a great signing for Huddersfield IMO and will sort them out.

Brilliant signing
Proper defender and leader. Will certainly make up the leadership we lost when p.clark left
Plus the skip down the road falling to pieces again. Oh joy

Let's get something straight I don't think many have moaned as much has been frustrated at performances in the past 8 months. Yes we have our fair share of moaners but there are many many more who support DH but have asked reasonable questions about strategy. We seem to be addressing our frailties and have done some good business too. Yes performances have been shocking for a while. But Dean keeps spending money within our budget, without putting us in any debt. The training ground looks good, canalside looks great and we have everything in place to move up the league further and who knows premier league, just wish some people would stop moaning and realise the size we are as a club and how lucky we are to have a sensible, realist chairman who loves the club. Robins walked and now hes trying to find the right manager. Whats the problem??? There are many people who totally support and understand everything you point out, what many didn't understand was why such a well run and organised club had a relatively inconsistent and unstable 1st team. DH has done so much for our club it made the position we found ourselves in at the end of last season all the more baffling, as was the decision to persist with Robins. In the past 3 weeks we have made decisions that are moving the team forward again, but, and it probably doesn't matter now, why didn't we do this in the summer. My point was there's a big difference between moaning and questioning constructively.

Am I right in thinking we have bought Butterfield, Coady, Peltier, Murphy and Hudson... And still made over £2 million on transfers?? Bravo So all that stressing was for nothing No stressing at all Ted, just emotive language!

Honestly think with the squad we've got, if we can get everyone fit and a bit of confidence in them then we could trouble the top six. But i just can't see a time when we have a fully fit squad to pick from
Smithies
Peltier Hudson Lynch Robinson
Scannell Butterfield Coady Lolley
Vaughan Wells
Murphy, Smith, Gerrard, Majewski, Hammill, Bunn, Hogg/Gobern

-------------------------------------Smithies -----Smith/Pelts------------Hudson-------------Lynch/Gerrard--------Robinson/Dixon -------Scanz-------------------Coady-------------Butterfield--------Hammill/Maj/Lolley -----------------------------------JV-----------Wells
Lots of options now and also is there a place for Bunn ? Things suddenly got more rosy, eary days but surely with this squad and a little luck with injuries we will be ok this season

Peltier Hudson Lynch Robinson Smith Gerrard Wallace Dixon Two good back fours there now, very solid. Hudson is exactly what we needed, brilliant signing Hopefully concede less with 8 defenders too!

Of course but it's a small minority and are wholly predictable. I was surprised that that minority had apparently got to DH.

Good signing. Hopefully Wallace will get a loan to a League 1 side. He desperately needs a run of games to prove himself.
