Team v Middlesbrough for me - and yes it's attacking but it will be close to that I'm sure and to me that doesn't look half bad!

It's just a pity we don't have the game for another 12 days!
I hope we can play 2 up top but wonder if we will go 4-1-4-1 again...nice problem to have

Scannell has earned his shirt for now. Majewski would play for me coming off the other flank, tucked in.
If gerrard is fit he starts. Love to beat them after some of their silly fans big talk.

If Smithies wears the same shirt as the other 10 it might get a bit confusing.

Butterfield has to play that's for sure. Hope he scores against them.

Team v Middlesbrough for me - and yes it's attacking but it will be close to that I'm sure and to me that doesn't look half bad! Until Gerrard is fit. That looks a reasonable shout. For me, possibly Scannell for Lolley, can Majewski fit in? And is Bunn good enough to start. Personally i think you have the front 2 spot on. On paper looks a strong side, with a good bench to pisck from. Now has to go from paper to pitch.

I would immediately make Hudson captain as well.

I find it encouraging that nobody has disagreed about the back 4 I've selected, not that it really means anything, but it would be nice to have a settled back 4 given a few games together to gell

Wow, first time this season I've actually looked at a team and thought it looks decent! Would have lots of options on the bench also with Madjewski, Scannell, Bunn, Hogg, Gerrard, Smith, Murphy to name a few. Not seen the new LB but wont be hard to be an improvement on Dixon. Looking good, just hope we can avoid any more injuries. Past experience says it will take Vaughan about 5 games to get firing on all cylinders, another injury and we surely haver to bring in a loan striker with physical presence, would be best to assume the inevitable will happen and bring one in now to be honest.

Why would you put Scannell on the left wing when he has just had 3 excellent games in a row at right wing. Why wouldn't Bunn get the left wing slot when he has been clearly playing better than Hammill/Ward for the last 3 games? Otherwise great attacking line up! Having said that I'd have to leave Wells out and go Smithies Smith Hudson Lynch Robertson Coady Butterfield Majewski Scannell Vaughan Bunn in a 4-3-3 but with Coady in front of the back 4 but driving us forward - as he does. Its a lot more fun when you have selection headaches.

Think it'd be unfair to drop Bunn. One of our better players so far.

Subs: Murphey, Peltier, Gerrard, Majewski, Lolley, Hammill, Stead. This. With Bunn and Scannell pushing wide when we're attacking. I would like to get Lolley and Majewski on the pitch but Scannell and Bunn have earned their stripes of late. Both to come on midway through the half dependant on how the game is panning out.

Just looking at the strength in depth we have now, it's quite impressive. Here's two different teams, the first one being my preference for Boro:
Smithies Peltier, Hudson, Lynch, Robinson Scannell, Butterfield, Coady, Lolley Wells, Vaughan
Murphy Smith, Wallace, Gerrard, Dixon Hammill, Majewski, Hogg, Ward Stead, Bunn
