Rate lynch a lot and think he's having a good season, just started the other thread as Wallace takes a lot of unjustified stick in my opinion. I actually think he's had a good season and done well this year and 21 year old is a young age for a centre back. Very highly thought of at the club the fact Lillis said he sees him as a future htfc captain speaks volumes!!!

He was very solid, noticed him go for some crunching headers that he won, still can improve, LIllis seems to think he's excellent attitude.

This is where I normally get confused and frustrated.

I think that's it now for this lad maybe a loan out to league two is it possible?? Smith Coady peltier lynch Hudson Gerrard all ahead of him now Views?? My View is Smith and Peltier are RBs Coady is DM and Gerrard is clearly not ahead of him otherwise Gerrard would have played and Murray been on bench, so difficult to undersatnd where you're coming from !!!!!! Personally I think Wallace improves with evry game he plays, needs to get physically stronger, and cut out the odd mistake but all that will only come with time and more games. I think Lynch will have to make do with a seat on the bench when he's fit with Gerrard dropping out of the squad.

It was Hudson's mistake, just an excuse to have a go at the lad. Played very well last week.

Lets all blame Wallace for Hudson's fuck up and rank bad half time management from Powell.

Seen nothing from him to suggest he can cut it at this level, not really sure what the supposed strong points of his game are. Surely Gerrard must be a better option than him, or am I missing something.

Gerrard is a better option than any of the our other central defenders but he must have pissed Powell off big time to be not getting a game in this defence.

Just said the same - clearly there is something between CP & Gerrard, but they need to sort it! It would be good if Wallace were the long term solution, and I for one was glad he got his chance, but he has a lot to prove yet.

Isn't it normally Lynch who likes Christmas off? That's a 4 match ban for Wallace isn't it? That will give him chance to go up to Falkirk for a week or two.

Or he's been out injured a long time and whilst he might have come on had we had 11 players, he's nowhere near fit enough yet to have the legs to play in a ten where we're been pulled all over the place. One of them two options probably.

I don't accept that. He's been on the bench for a month now. He could surely manage 45 minutes or why on bench?

One of them two options probably. Gerrard started playing U21 games at least two months ago. How fit do you need to be to get a game, especially in a defence that's now conceded 38 goals so far this season?
