The only thing tonight missed was a goal from Murray Wallace.

Good result tonight but I still don't think Wallace has what it takes to cut it at this level consistently…

Had very little to do to be fair.
Caught out again-twice- by the long ball over the top. Has the concentration span of a goldfish and the pace of a halibut.

Played well tonight, but needs to do this consistently, and against the better teams will pay for the number of times he gets done by the long hopeful ball over the top.

As you say he looks adequate against mediocre teams - and don't tell me Reading were up for it tonight - but he's nowhere near Championship standard.

From your post though, I've concluded Murray Wallace definitely has a better grasp of grammar/punctuation than you. Oh… He also knows how to use the space bar too!

Quick, spread that one round the board that Reading "weren't up for it". The negative posters will cling to that one. (Actually, I hope they do. Every time they pollute pre-match threads with their shite, Town take the piss out of them)

Having watched the last 2 games Wallace has impressed me no end, he's very much a work in progress when it comes to consistency but I can understand why the club is placing its future in his young hands than Gerrard's older ones.

The fact that you use such terms as "tosser", "stupidity", "bastard" (in the previous insult) says it all really and unfortunately demonstrates why so many regular posters no longer contribute to this board. Would it not be possible to have a decent discussion, JuniorTerrier as you are, without the personal insults and foul language ?

Criticism coming from a man who has spent 90 mins counting that Wallace has got done by TWO long balls, then go onto pass comment on his concentration levels and pace no doubt basking in your concreted arrogance. The reason why there are less people on this forum is down to posters like the three people above who have just spent an entire evening hoping a young Town player will make mistakes so you can gloat. The attempts to pass your posts as decent discussion would just be laughable if it wasn't for the fact you and Shawsie didn't give the impression you were the judge and jury in the who can denegrate Murray Wallace the most, anyway give yourselves a slap on the back because you are still Tossers.

Really no need to keep calling them tossers just because they have their own opinion on Wallace's performances. Everybody has had a go at one player or another in their life, and if they say they have not they are lying.

Watching 2 young centre backs last night in Wallace and Hector for Reading I'd have Wallace everytime, considering how much Hector costs. Murray Wallace is a not the best but over the course of this season he has improved in most areas , ok he gets done by a simple long ball now and again but unlike their lad Hector he did the rest of the defensive duties to a good standard. He still has a lot to learn but hopefully with the guidance of Hudson he will develop into an adequate championship defender and inexpensive to boot.

Don't have a problem on people giving an opinion on a players performance however this is constant sniping against a young lad who we a trying to bring down the pathway the club are trying to follow. I doubt that wigster knows Wallace enough to comment on his concentration levels, this is personal criticism of an attribute he knows nothing about..it's the drip drip negativity that persists against anything the club does that is spoiling this forum,

Which people are entitled to pick up on. Hopefully will keep improving but I would still rather see Lynch start.

Always liked Wallace there's a player in there he just needs a regular run of games and I'm sure playing next to Hudson will help him. Really hope Powell keeps in Jen lynch returns and plays a back three of lynch Hudson and Wallace

I think that's it now for this lad maybe a loan out to league two is it possible?? Smith Coady peltier lynch Hudson Gerrard all ahead of him now Views?? My View is Smith and Peltier are RBs Coady is DM and Gerrard is clearly not ahead of him otherwise Gerrard would have played and Murray been on bench, so difficult to undersatnd where you're coming from !!!!!! Personally I think Wallace improves with evry game he plays, needs to get physically stronger, and cut out the odd mistake but all that will only come with time and more games. I think Lynch will have to make do with a seat on the bench when he's fit with Gerrard dropping out of the squad. Gerrard peltier smith lynch Edgar Coady are better than Wallace at centre back he is poor end off!!!

Strange player. Can look a composed defender one minute, the next it looks like Audrey Roberts from Corrie has turned out.

I think Wallace is susceptible to a style of attack, any move where he has to shift his weight quickly, he is very vulnerable. He is very good at standing ground and being in the right place for crosses. 1 vs 1 where the attacked is jinking left and right, he looks unsteady.
