Going swimmingly at Old Trafford. With Notts struggling this could be a great step towards the Championship. Superb.
All relevant as Gale is a Town fan.

Lyth now 201 not out. G'wan son!
Let's just hope that Notts' second innings will be as bad as their first.

BBC website score stuck for some reason.Lyth now 231, Rashid 104. 511/5 Thought they were going a bit slow based on the BBC site! Being absolutely battered now @ 526/5 with Lyth closing in on hid first class best ever score of 248 not out. Only 13 behind. Will Gale let Lyth get this milestone and declare I wonder? Go on Yorkshire!

Come on Yorkshire...of all the sporting teams in the world I have an irrational dislike for Lancs CCC - more so than any other football team....yes even that lot down the road

Bat until an hour after tea. Lead of 400+ then get Rashid to unleash hell.

We've got to win it this season because the way it is going at least another three players may get England calls - Lyth, Brooks and Rashid (never really understood why he was abandoned so readily.

Out for 251. Great knock. Let Adil get another run for 150 then stick 'em in.
That's right, I've changed my mind.

Keep going Yorkshire, could be a big 24 hours in the County Championship Notts require 375 to beat Durham. If Notts were to do it according to the Durham twitter that would be the highest successful run chase in a first class game at Emirates Durham ICG ... twitter.com/DurhamCricket

Lyth will get his chance in the test team next year. Robson was a mistake.

massive day tomorrow in both games, I think he rested his seamers tonight so all three can have a real go early on, if we get Prince and Khajawa it could be a long day for Lancs. Notts 4 down needing 188, Collingwood has stepped us his game recently. Great cricketer IMO.

Also, looks like Root and Ballance will be back for the final match, possibly penultimate one as well unless England come up with a new way of stopping them playing...

There's been talk of lees as long term replacement for Cook too! YCC really deserves a lot of credit for how it identified and nurtures talent. I've been down south all summer but liking forward to going to more games next season. Do you go down impact?

Nowhere near as much as I'd like. Been to a few t20s and one dayers this year but haven't made a single 4 day match. Hopefully can get down to a day of the last one (and be one of those glory supporters that sees us lift the trophy )

Going off on a tangent here but I see Ben Duckett got his maiden first class century for Northants today. Saw him for the England under 19s on telly last year, the kid looks a real prospect. Very Eoin Morgan-esque left hander with all the strokes.
