sort of guy who needs a free pass for most of a season to adjust. undoubtedly talented, but not likely to make an immediate impact south of the border, as we found.

Reason he 'never made an impact' was he never got a decent run of games!! We brought him in, hardly played him, then moved him on again (although I thought he showed lots of promise in those fleeting moments........)

He's certainly talented. Remember watching him vs celtic and he was the best player on the pitch by a mile...bossed it and i was pretty excited when he then signed - looked exactly the player we needed (and still do)
didnt get quite as many chances here as some, but he only has himself to blame for that if what i heard was correct

Always rated him when he was here and was hugely disappointed that we never actually give him the chance of a run in the starting 11.
MK Dons away in the playoff semi he was the bees knees.

Anyone who saw his half arsed performance at Emley last year where he was outplayed by most can assure you the lad won't cut it.
Crap signing by Clark.

The thing is he might have turned crap but when he came he wasn't crap. His debut against MK Dons was good, Clark dropped him down at Stevenage and ruins his confidence, he wasn't the same again, lets not forget that he did play a part in that great day at Wembley.

Must have had a shit attitude not to get more chances

Yes, that would have to be the conclusion.....
Otherwise, the only alternative would be that the manager/coach/director of football (whoever made the decision) was shite at his job!!!

Another player of talent who never made it at Town. What are we doing wrong here?

If he was so good he wouldn't be playing for Partick Thistle. He failed to show anything under three different managers. I knew a member of the coaching team under Clark and Grayson and he told me he had a bad attitude and wasn't really that good (shit was his actual wording). He's gone, get over it.

Showed glimpses but he was shit. He'll never make it in a proper league unless he has sorted himself out, there's a couple of reasons he didn't get a run of games but having a good game wasn't one of them!
