What would the first two games have been like? What would the selection have been? Results?......would there be the same amount of negativity?

Nobody knows, we might've been hammered 4-0 twice, we might've won.
Whilst I don't necessarily agree completely with what Powell is doing I think it's pretty clear to see his thinking. Stop conceding, no matter how much we attack if we are having to score 2, 3 or 4 goals a game just to get a point we're down. We've not conceded from open play, we conceded a freak 35 yard free kick and a daft penalty. Hopefully when we've proved we can keep it tight at the back and grind results out we'll start to see more attacking play. This along with Powell getting to know the players better and what their capabilities are (Peltier isn't a centre mid, Butterfield not a wide man etc...) and things should improve it might just take time.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to be unkind, but this is really a dumb question. We all of us engage in what-ifs, even though it isn't desperately productive at any level, but you're asking us to speculate on what might be happening if someone that none of us know (I assume) and only have any knowledge of through his management of a totally different club in a totally different league, had taken over at Town? When we don't even know for sure that he was ever in the mix? Surely this is the ultimate in pointlessness?

I like your thinking Amigo - in my hour of despair, it has made me believe that things are indeed on the way up - Powell may have a cunning plan (yes, even "as cunning as a fox who's just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University"!!) and we may yet yank it out of the fire, to build a side capable of competing at the right end of the table!! On the other hand, we have to go to Leeds on Saturday.

If it had been Lennon we may have had problems with work permits and import taxes from tomorrow onwards. Lucky we got rid of Rhodes when we did.
EDIT: GRAMMAR ONLY

Oh I'am so glad we've got CP instead of that little shit NL. CP knows what he's doing just watch this space and give him time. My bet is we'll have L666ds Saturday.

what if fergie had got the job? Beatrice as assistant and Eugenie to takeover from Ross? Works for me, reckon we'd have an extra 6 points.
