Instead of blaming the manager and dean Hoyle.....try the ruddy players. They shouldn't friggin need motivating today...it comes from within and wanting to do well for fans paying fortunes to watch surely?! Utterly gutless, clueless and unless it changes quick get ready for Bradford, Coventry and Colchester!!!! Thank The Lord I can't be arsed to spend the money travelling anymore!

So.....7 to go. I don't know what CP's priorities are for this squad....was tightening the defence a high one?
Depressing......for far too much of the time since we got promoted to this division, we've been pretty dire. I never thought we would find it so difficult to simply make the grade here...not promo candidates, just comfortable.

Lots turning on Hoyle, thats the last thing we should be doing . Players let us down badly today . We are just not good enough but show some backbone ffs. Hammill Billing and Radi deserve a go, AND a loan striker before the next game

Give him 10 games. But another 7 like this shambles and we may be wasting another 7 to get points. We are doomed with this team and maybe this manager..... are we going to do I have never seen 3 more abject performances. This makes robins look like shankley. I won't overreact.... but bloody he'll I'm close to calling for Powells head already. It's a shambles. Lillis is the only one that can save us this year.

lets hope we have a reverse of the last two seasons where we have started good and been shite second half, this time we are shite now but lets pray something good begins to happen. as said good job theres other teams as shite although i suspect fulham when with a new manager will rocket up this league. the loan market needs to be used now. also while im moaning why do consecutive managers pick the same shite players give lolley a go whats wrong with maj, wallace needs to come back in was doing well, murphy should be given a chance.

Something's majorly wrong within the club. We look like a poor league 1 side at best. SORT IT OUT Dean before it's too late. I fear it is too late. Why has this not been sorted it's clear to see for everyone. We won't not can't compete if we continue this way at this level period! Look at the teams that have recently been promoted? Where are they? Miles above us in class, passion, teamwork, spending etc. no more excuses dean Hoyle please you are a multi millionaire. Before I get grief I'll just put it to some on here, if I had 350 million in the bank (reportedly) i wouldn't hesitate on spending 6 million on a striker like forest have. He's a town fan like us so he must be watching thinking what's going on I need to sort this. No one else cares about FFP so why are we? I'd spend 300 million of my 350 million fortune if it meant we became a solid premier league team. Tied up in assets you fool. Hoyle owes us nothing, this is distasteful the man has got us to the championship and this is wot he gets. Im sure he would sell to the Arabs or other billionaires but they arent knocking at the door so until then im glad the club is in the hands of Dean Hoyle. Fuck off and support Man UtdCity or Chelsea or another telly team if all its about is money. Town forever, thanks Deano ignore such hate.

Maybe we should set up not to concede. I know that's unpopular, but it seems to make the most sense at the moment. The problem is that means we have to play like we did against Wigan--not entertaining, but effective. I wouldn't call one point out of six in the last two games when we set up like that effective. We'll get nothing either way unless we get the striker we've so obviously needed forever. If we go down, that will have been the major factor. Even today, with the amount of the ball we had if we had someone to hit or could take a chance it most likely would've been a different game. When you're chasing you're always liable to concede more as today proved. I think Powell's had a lot of justified criticism over his first two games but IMO today was down to individual errors at the back and the lack of a decent presence up front which meant we never threatened to get a foothold in the game even when we were playing alright.

One thing for sure, Dean Hoyle will not bottle it. He is an hard nosed businessman And a town fan. Town are in a great position, with youth, infrastructure and ffp. If ffp goes tits up, Dean will excel in that environment too. We are a championship side. Too much rides on this for Dean to give it up.

Another 'Elland Road embarrassment' for the fans to enjoy, crikey it was painful, having said that I don't think we played too bad in the first half and for the first 20 minutes of the second but we are so mentally and physically weak its untrue and cannot turn possession into chances or goals.
First goal, Lynch has a clearance charged down, falls luckily to Austin who drills it home, most people will be pointing the fingers at Lynch for this goal but Smithies, get a grip mate, there is no way should have been beaten by that on your near post and the rest of the defence stood around watching Austin. Second, caught in possession in midfield, and again to be fair to Lynch he could have a good argument to say he was fouled but he goes down leaving the Leeds player with a clear run on goal, chips it onto he bar and the rebound is drilled home emphatically, if this had had been at the other end we'd have blazed that over the bar. Third goal, more flimsy defending with Leeds first attack of the second half and its 3-0, after that we were finished.
Leeds were physically superior to us, brushing us off the ball on several occasions and this was in evidence numerous times. We appear to be mentally weak collapsing at the drop of a hat. We did have one or two good chances but Wells failed to make a decent connection with a great opportunity early in the second half, Bunn blazed wildly over in the first half when composure was needed and Stead blazed over when he it needed to slot it low but by then it was way way too late.
We are desperate for a new striker and the club need to address this issue or we'll just end up relegated simple as that, although I'm a bit mystified as to why we haven't addressed it already. Powell needs to come up with a striker and get some result pronto.

When you see the replay Art you'll see that Smithies was unsighted by Hudson for the first and Lynch could and should have either rolled it to Smithies or put it into row Z way before he actually attempted the clearance. As an aside I thought we passed better than the last 2 fixtures and they weren't many long balls ploughed forward, but defensively we looked so weak every time they attacked. Maybe we need Peltier back in the midfield

In terms of possession and chances the game was quite equal. But in terms of effort, commitment and purpose we absolutely shit out bar Bunn and Leeds were much better on that score. You take away the cock-ups and it's a close game without much between the two sides. Too many on RL after the game swallowing suicide pills, when the truth is that despite us being absolute cack off of the ball, they created 4 chances all game on the counter. We were poor, they were average and 3-0 was flattering to them.

The balance of play was far more even than the suicide bunch or deluded lot would like to admit to. The game was evenly balanced in terms of possession, and those 3 goals we conceded were from absolute cock ups from us, and the only 3 shots you had on goal all game until Antenucci right at the end. I will grant you that in possession Leeds were far more purposeful, and Austin drove with the ball brilliantly at points, and out of possession your organisation and pressing was better than ours. But goals change games, if we don't make these silly errors it's a tight and closer game. The facts are that you didn't control possession or carve us open and create chance after chance. Had you have done that I'd have given you the thumbs up.
