As far as I can see he does not manage the team he has ploughed millions into our club to build a solid foundation, without going down the Clarke and Grayson road It was if my memory served me correctly it was Robins who brought Stead and Patterson in last year and they are simply not good enough DH did not pick these two forwards MR did and DH supported his manager.
Also it was not DH who turned out such a spineless performance yesterday it was the overpaid bunch of freeloaders who need the biggest rocket to make them start earning the wages they are paid.
If any complaint is to be levelled at the board in my opinion,it it one of selling your best players Rhodes,Clayton,Pilkington,Norwood all want to better themselves and they feel that this can be done away from Huddersfield. I fully understand DH has to do the best for the club when the contract situation of a player dictates action is required, but you simply cannot sell you best players and replace them with ones not as good and expect to do anything else other than struggle.
I am not certain how to solve the problem but we need to create a situation at the club were the good player want to stay and try to get Huddersfield promoted to the Premiership and it appears to me that we either pay more money (which we cannot afford) or perhaps we put longer contracts on the table and take a risk with the players, this way the likes of Clayton and Norwood may still be with us,or subsequently we would have received higher transfer fee's for them allowing is to find suitable replacements.
As I said in the title I don't see why we are blaming Dean and I think if he had pulled on a shirt yesterday he would have at least tried harder than most of the players on the pitch.

He is the only one with SOME money and we will have to hope he is ready to open up his wallet again.

Have a look on Facebook, some of the criticism of Hoyle is staggering, the amount of idiots that follow our club overwhelming.
The North Stand Loyal was getting the grief for defeat last week, it's Deans turn this week.
However, he is the chairman of Championship football club, and in the same way they (the board) found the funds for Beckford and Vaughan in our first season here, they need to find the funds for the required players now, because we are short up front, and in defence.

People have vey short memories and it is about time those that criticise DH are held to account and stand up rather that spout drivel on social media. For those that cannot recall DH clearly said that he will wait to see what the response if fans were if he is to continue at the helm. Well I suspect that if those idiots who perhaps do not know their arse from their elbow continue then DH will jack it all in. It was not DH on the field of play yesterday. I sometimes wonder which gene pool some of our fans come from.
For completeness and to show I am not an anonymous keyboard warrior my name is Andy Lister and whilst working overseas I live in the HD8 area UTT and DH continue as you are

Its not his fault but....there is the continuing ongoing saga of a new striker, where is this new striker that we've been crying out for the past year or so? Wells is struggling on his own, his performances have dipped, he needs some bloody help. Now we don't know what has gone on during the summer, whether a striker has tried to be signed or not, but my guess it hasn't.
Another point that is irking me a bit, we continually sell our best players and just replace them. Most clubs in this division strengthen their squads whilst we just replace like for like, 2 midfielders out 2 in, although you could argue Majewski has been added too, who must be royally pissed off. How the hell do we expect to progress and compete in this league without improving the overall squad?
If the club do not get in a striker in the next few weeks or this week even, then I have to wonder whether they are really interested in staying in this league. The club can argue all it wants about it has limited resources but the club seem to be ignoring, consciously or not, what is needed to keep the club in this league and take us forward.

I think you're being kind describing them as idiots. You're absolutely right though, funds have to be found & quickly, because without them, this team will definitely be relegated. I'm more concerned about up front than the defence though. We've brought Hudson & Robinson in & surely things will improve further when Gerrard is back & replaces Lynch. Up front though, we have zero threat or presence. Wells is completely unsuited to the lone striker role, looks disinterested & might as well not have been on the pitch yesterday. I'm sure that will change though if we can get another decent striker to play with him. We have to forget about Vaughan & get someone else in & fast.

Dean Hoyle does what he thinks is best for the club, usually every one agrees with his decisions, unfortunatley the players/management fail to deliver, cant really blame him for that, i dont think he has a crystal ball

I've been watching Town since the late 1940s and I can tell you that Dean Hoyle is the best thing that has happened to our club. But the choice of a manager is the most important decision that has to be made. It could be argued that LC, SG and MR were all the wrong choice - and don't let the 'know alls' on here tell me that Grayson got us promoted - it was luck which did that! Then there's the matter of recruitment, and after watching Leeds yesterday, it is obvious that their additions have been far better than ours because they had 3 players with electrifying pace and power which we couldn't handle - that was the difference between the teams. We dominated possession for the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half, then they broke away and scored through one of their speed merchants. We can only hope that Powell is the correct choice this time round because Adkins was turned down then LC was appointed and, by all accounts, Lennon and Kluivert sent in their applications recently.

Absolutley no need to blame Dean Hoyle. He had nothing to do with yesterdays game. If someone feels they could do a better job than him then be my guest, baring in mund that you'd need millions to run the club

Completely agree re Wells and the need for a striker. Not so much in agreement where you seem to be suggesting we should increase our numbers, I'd rather see quality over quantity, which is a tricky balancing act with a finite budget.

Yeah we will all be in DH debt ....Hate to say it but there is something wrong at the club and starts at that the top works it way down, we all want to do well as a group and as a club we dont need to fight internally but we need players and fast as its gone stale and as a business man and chairman DH will have to make a decision this season to invest a little bit more than usual as needs a bit more overhaul to get on par now to stay in this division or risk getting relegated .

The revolving door policy hasn't had the success it was hoped. We haven't replaced Rhodes, Pilkington, and Hunt with players anywhere near the same quality. Some may argue that the same applies to Clayton and Norwood. Granted, we have had back luck with JV,but overall the replacements for the outgoing talent isn't yet up to the mark.

I feel quite sorry for DH. Fans can just walk away from the club....stop going to matches......wash their hands of it.....support another team.
But poor old DH is stuck with it. The novelty of owning his childhood club would have worn off some time ago. Every morning, he must wake up, then groan when he remembers that he's still lumbered with it.....still funding those overpaid prima donnas.
And tomorrow the same....and the day after....and.......
