Hope we get Holt for the season! If not we can always try and get Alan Lee on emergency loan!

According to Barnsley fans who were at their Supporters Trust meeting last night, Barnsley had a deal agreed with Wigan for Holt but he didn't want to go. Presumably, the same loan deal we have but this would suggest Wigan are contributing a significant bit of his wages as I can't imagine Barnsley taking them on in full.

Can seem him playing his way back into Rosler's plans here to be honest and him being recalled if he continues to have a good impact

Sooner we get him tied to a longer deal the better, Wigan will still be desperate to get him off their wage bill even though he's had a few good games for us. Problem will be if rosler gets the boot but Whelan is usually quite patient.

Grant Holt “In my three games for Huddersfield I’ve been sharp. So it’s nice to have shown people I’ve still got a bit.” link

Rosler hates him and so do Wigan fans. He isn't off back there unless Rosler gets the axe.

apparently a big personal bust up with rossler so unless he really bites the bullet grant isn't going back to play at wigan as long as Rossler is in charge.. probably goes for both of them..

Good article.....seems like a feet on the ground type of guy....sign him up ! Don't be romantic about it! He'll be looking to secure the best financial deal possible for his remaining football future - wherever that might be.

He's a multi millionaire and he's got a great current pay deal in his locker as it is. He doesn't have to look far
