Thought Sean Scannell was fantastic today and was willing him to score as his performance certainly deserved a goal. Really hope he gets a really good run in the team as we know he could be one hell of a player!

Good to hear the positives from a few about Hogg. Maybe those niggling injuries he kept getting were what caused his drop off in form and he is now fully fit.

Scannell was class and Hogg made some crunching tackles which was great to see - I thought he was walking at the end though!

Hogg was terrific today but Scannell was the best player on the park.

Scannell was class but hogg today for me was unbelievable chased everything and picked up everything and nothing. Finallly showing what hes about hes been great last 3-4 games not taking anything away from bunn scannell and holt who are winning us games but players like hogg dont get rekognized. Class

i said all along about Scannell...Robins had no idea with him, played him one game , dropped him and repeated that 7 or 8 times last season...no way to treat a player...just needs an arm round him..and a decent run in the team...If Powell hadn't come in he would have been at Millwall now...

Has Powell changed anything with Hogg to get this change in form ?
Looks like he is doing a good job with a few of the boys..

Hogg for me as well. Thought he was outstanding. First to close down, fantastic interceptions and I don't think he gave away the ball once. When the team was sat back he was the one who took the game to Blackpool. Fantastic shift.

I gave the top six all at least 8/10 today. Butterfield superb second half creatively and did his share of tackling too. Hogg & coady work very well together and worked tirelessly. Holt bunn and scannell could each have had a hattrick. Each was unplayable at times.
Scannell was just sublime today tho, far too good for Blackpool. Brrilliant runs and perfect final ball for bunn, only missed a goal himself to top off a perfect performance.
Top day all round, loved it.

Why not have one long mom thread for the season then if we are neat and tidy enough we will only have two or three threads in total.

Scannell was excellent today, the Blackpool left back was given a torrid time in the first 15 minutes. Great performance, hope he can continue with the great form.

Scannell for me, outstanding, tore the right back a new one + substituted after about 20 minutes! Hogg - we saw the player he was at Watford that their fans were raving about. Butterfield had an excellent game as playmaker and topped it off with a great goal. Coady all over the place covering, Bunn tearing his full back a new one. Most importantly - we had leaders all over the pitch

Scannell is absolutely unplayable when on that sort of form. Absolutely superb. Agreed on Hogg too. Not been impressed since he joined (I like footballers with more ability), although would acknowledge he sometimes does an important job for the team, but thought he was excellent all round today. It's hard to single out individuals though when the whole team played well barring the odd few moments.

I think that with Blackpool changing their left back after 16 mins and our third goal with Scannell tearing him a new one said it all today.

Think Butterfield needs a mention here too, some great work in the middle, positive forward play and capped with a very decent goal.

too many good performances today to single anyone out.
Have to agree the best 6 or 7 defo players scored at least 8 out of 10.
Great to see Scannell and Hogg looking the part though
