It's time Town just allowed the manager to pick and buy players instead of these trouser polishers at Canalsiode recruiting and spending money on Scottish second division, non league and, dare I say it, division 1 players... waste of money most of them and I include Lolley, Wallace and Wells amongst them... look for castoffs from the Premier and Championship.. guys that have proved themselves.. Hudson from Cardiff. Scannell from Cardiff. Lynch from Forest. Coady from Liverpool. Smith from Man City academy. Bunn from Man City academy. Holt from Wigan. Butterfield from Middlesbrough. Robinson from Liverpool via QPR. Hogg from Watford. They was our outfield starters on Saturday so i don't get your point re our transfer policy? Are you saying we should have a squad exclusively made up of premier & Championship players? *Scanz from Palace.

What's a "trouser polisher"? people who shine the arse of their trousers by sitting on them all day doing diddly squat. have you never heard the expression- - he was as shiny as a bus drivers trouser seat... Thanks, that makes sense - been doing it for about 35 years so I should've known!

I'd send him on loan definitely. A few months of regular professional football would do him the world of good and he isn't going to get that here yet. His game still needs a lot of work. When to release the ball, awareness of what's going on around him and when you look at our current wingers then work rate/tracking back if he's going to slot in. All this will come with game time (along with fitness) so it seems sensible to me to let him go out and get a run of games in League 1 if possible. I don't think his game needs a lot of work and I'd definitely not send him out on loan. When he is fit he's ready to step straight in to Scannell's position if required if Scannell gets injured or his levels drop.

I just don't think he's anywhere near defensively which is what has been a big plus having Bunn and Scannell as they both work very hard as well as their attacking flair. He gives the ball away far too much as well from what I've seen so far. Certainly a month somewhere to see how he gets on and get his match fitness/form up would do no harm and we wouldn't miss him as we've not really had him yet.

He frightens defenders - don't let him go.

He frightens defenders - don't let him go. Ours - with his lack of tracking back Just kidding - very raw kid needs plenty of refinement but well worth the gamble.

Carr - fit as a fiddle every week and looks shit for the U21s every week. I'm at a loss as to why we are persevering with him. He's contracted to us until the end of this season. I expect we'll stop persevering with him at the end of the season.

The crazy folk on here are obsessed with loaning out our peripheral players. We need competition and Lolley(Radi, Hammill, Ward) is a handy player to bring on
