I took a bit of shit saying he was overrated before this isnt about that so don't worry What's going on with him? scored 2 and hasnt been in the team since has he? not fully fit or does Powell not rate him? Ward and Pato coming on ahead of him yesterday confused me a bit. We've shown we don't need him and have to build a team around him but I just find it a bit weird. Also he looks a right moody twat.

I bet Nahki was gutted not to get on the pitch yesterday. For a hungry striker, Blackpool's defence would have had him drooling.

Why does he look a moody twat? Celebrated the goal with the players and staff when Cody scored at wolves. Seems supportive of other players on twitter when he's not in team. seems alright to me to say it would be perfectly understandable for him to be pissed off at being sub. if he was sat there smiling you would probably be criticising him for being happy when he's a sub.

Horses for courses.
Interested why you think he "looks a right moody twat" though. He's clearly the exact opposite.

Totally agreed with powells selection more physical presence upfront with bunn and holt. Strange why wells didn't make an appearance can only think it may have been that we were two goals ahead had we been at 3-3 I think we may have seen him

His tweet after the match suggested he has no problems, I'm sure he wants to play but Powell would have given him his reasons. I'm sure we'll see him on the pitch Tues.

Also he looks a right moody twat. He does give that impression. Can anyone post a photo where he has a genuine smile on his face. Even the famous one after he scored his first goal (against Millwall) shows him screaming rather than smiling.

Horses for courses Your right, but I can't quite see any reason why we would be playing on the course that would suit Nahki in the near future. Even with Vaughan fit we look a lot better balanced with the current 433 / 451 , and we know that Nahki can't really play the wide role or the one up front role.

The only changes from the team that lost at Leeds compared to yesterday we're Holt for Wells and Smith for Peltier. It could be argued that Hogg wasn't fully fit at Leeds, but I think Holt is the main difference. Wells will have a major role to play, Powell will change the team when It suits how he wants to play.

At the moment he is being kept out of the team by Scannell, Bunn and Holt. Powell doesn't seem to thik Wells can play as a lone striker and so he needs to play with Holt or Bunn alongside him. But if you play two upfront you have either got to play 3-5-2 or 4-3-1-2 – which would mean dropping one or both of Scannell or Bunn – or 4-4-2 – which would mean being overrun in midfield. With the way the front three are playing at the moment, why change? With injuries, players dipping in and out of form, Wells will get another chance. Great option from the bench aswell.

The fact that Wells is on the bench just shows how we are finally assembling a squad of genuine quality.

did no one hear Lillis after the game on radio Leeds, saying every player on the bench even in the stand are as, if not more important the starting 11,, and will all have a part to play, he said Wells is a great player and a great lad and he knows how the game works, one day you play then another you dont, thats the way it is,he reckons Powell is a good man manager too and will of explained why he wasnt on the pitch,, tbf leaving him out worked so Wells cant really say fk all if he is unhappy

Not backwards in coming forwards, our Mark! Talked tons of sense n'all, mind.

He isn't overrated he's quality.. Powell chose to go one up top .. no story here Agree but was confused why he didnt come on. Maybe powell was doing a bit of man management bringing paterson in from the cold and giving him a go Only thing is it begs the question, what games will powell feel right for wells and holt to start together, given this was a home game vs bottom of the league? (not that im complaining as it worked)

Wells started against Blackburn, so he has been in the team since he scored 2 against Millwall. Nothing wrong with rotating the team - it keeps us unpredictable and that seems to be working at the moment

The sooner Holt & Wells start playing together & building a partnership the better for me.

Never seen a 'moody twat' in him at all. With the form of the front line at the moment one of Holt, Scannell or Bunn would have had to make way for him if he was going to get a full game. As far as the subs were concerned, Powell needs to keep everyone engaged. I can't ever remember us having such a strong bench, so he may have to bide his time.

He started v Blackburn & played well.. It's not a case of Powell not liking him at all.. As for the moody comment, it seems like you're trying to find something that isn't there.. He was praising Scanz on twitter last night & was the 1st to jump on Coady v Wolves when he was on the bench.

Our angriest striker is Holt hands down
He was set to explode on several occasions yesterday!

Not sure that would have been a good thing to do.We had enough of that with Alan Lee.

Our angriest striker is Holt hands down He was set to explode on several occasions yesterday! If I was as big and strong as him, I think I would have exploded several times with the way the ref handled the match and challenges on him particularly. At the end of the game he went up and spoke to the ref, but he didn't look too nasty about it. As it is Lee Peltier rushed out and probably saved the refs life by dragging Holty away. Christ we have had some terrible refs this season. Why do they always seem like 'awayers' as opposed to'homers' Do they all remember Alan Lee and his reputation and equate that to our wonderfully fair club?
